Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Josie was leading a double life as well, you're onto something with the mirrors. They were used to hint at the concept of the double and at this point in the series they've gone full on, Cooper broke the mirror and all the doubles are loose in the world.

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Small venues that have developed a reputation for having good bands or for helping to get good bands started often have no trouble pulling in big bands. That people object to this just shows they've never gone to one of these venues before. When I lived in San Diego a small place called the Casbah ...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

I get all that, I'm not nitpicking to a "25 years your senior" degree 8) , Just pointing out that in light of the Audrey scene, and the size that Twin Peaks supposedly is, not to mention the remoteness, that it's a possibility we should consider

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Speaking about episode 2.1 made me want to watch it, and there is a lot of relevance to the new season here. This is of course the first time we see the giant, and there's lots of exploration of the concept of doubles (they discuss Laura's double life, lelands hair turns white, which I always saw as...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

-Here's a thought: does the new roadhouse make ANY sense whatsoever in the context of Twin Peaks? It's in a small mountain town, packed with young people, AND national acts. Dream logic obviously factors in a bit, but maybe it factors in A LOT here. For a town of 51,000 people it absolutely makes s...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Ok- so here are my thoughts after a rewatch: -Jerry Horne was definitely there to show us Doppelcoop's (close!) proximity to Twin Peaks. I believe he recognizes Coop somehow. -For all the nitpicking about the 25 years line, did anyone think that it was just a plain lie to make Richard go up there? I...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Wait! She can't be- she didn't disappear on death, and I don't think tulpas get angel escorts to the white lodge

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

So, the way Laura got sucked out of the black Lodge/waiting room in the first episode was very similar to both Naido and Diane. I'm thinking the Laura he saw in the Lodge was a tulpa. ("I'll see you again in 25 years" "when you see me again it won't be me") I think the real Laur...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Ok I gotta gripe on all of y'all whining about how "unrealistic" or "ridiculous" Coopers snapping out of it was, like, doy. Of course it was, that was what made it great! And obviously Lynch and Frost knew that as well, and essentially scream that at us with the limo scene! Come ...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

I really like the idea of balance vs good/evil, because it's actually a sound explanation for the lodge spirits motives. The evil always coexisted with the good, but what happened when the atom bomb went off threw everything off the balance. Also it's kind badass to picture the black and white lodge...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Dougie Jones wasn't wearing the ring, right? Maybe tulpas automatically go into the Lodge when their time on Earth expires. Dougie was wearing the ring. Remember he shrinks and then it falls from his finger in Part 3? Oops, guess I forgot about that. Well ... okay, I don't know why "Diane"...

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)

Has anyone brought up that it's weird that Cooper seems like Cooper pre-season 2 finale? I assumed the Black Lodge split his soul into two parts, good and evil? What are everyone else's thoughts on this? I think you could actually argue that he was EXCESSIVELY good upon his return. True. But it's n...
