Re: Richard and Linda, Lynch's Masterstroke (SPOILERS)

C'mon, but did really everyone think "Richard" would be Richard Horne? I, for one, didn't. As much as I didn't really care about Richard and Linda and what they'll turn out to be about, I was sure that attaching Richard Horne's name to it was something along the line of Bobby & Mike vs...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

While we are talking these coordinates, did we ever find what Mr C was after? To go to the Fireman's place? He did! Nothing happened, he was kicked out in no time. What was he to do there anyway? Paint it black? Spray it with graffiti? Trash the furniture? After all I find Mr C an unsuccesful chara...

Re: FINAL POLL!!!!!!! Your Reaction to The Return as a Complete Work

Aside from the many dangling threads and the terrible Bob orb battle, I thought the finale was among the strongest portions of TR... yes, but it also makes it hard - for me, obviously not for many others who found some kind of key how to interpret what I just find to be a mess - so it is hard for m...

Re: S3: Biggest Disappointment About Unresolved Subplots?

Counterpaul, I have no idea how you came up with all of this but well, beautifully written. I don't see any of it in what I've just finished watching but like I said elsewhere, I clearly don't understand what it is all about and I'm not inclined to think about it too much, either. Anyway, when I'm r...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

mlsstwrt you asked whether to watch or not - I can't say of course, I never had the case of The Return spoiling my memories of Twin Peaks so it has always been fairly safe for me... while you seemed vulnerable in this respect... And so, I must say, after last night, it was the first time when I want...

But it could have been worse, you could have written: Laura, Lara, Lana! :D

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

Still two hours and I don't know what I want, I don't know what I should do... I mean it's midnight and I need to get up at 6 tomorrow so you get my problem. And yet - Twin Peaks is ending! Or is it? (Is it Twin Peaks, I mean). I kind of feel the thrill and I would most like to sit up until two, the...

Re: A Simple Poll: Is Richard toast?

I would hope they make use of his character but I'm afraid they won't. Which will be one of the biggest disappointments and wastes since the guy really started off great in the show (but hasn't done anything that matters so far).

Re: POLL: Which Characters Will We See in the Final Two Hours?

I voted: Leland - because I believe Leland and Laura will wrap it somehow, they were at the beginning , they will apear in the ending, Ben Horne - for the sound at Great Northern and perhaps even the key? (one of my favourite motives here) Carl - he is a witness of important things But Red? I don't ...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

I rewatched the MIKE parts from 16 and I still think the "grumpy school caretaker" effect is not just an acting issue but it was right there from the script. Look what role MIKE has been given to play: one of a subordinate, not a powerful entity out of this world. He does chores, strange a...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

But if the actor is no longer capable of portraying the force that he was... Somehow I don't think it is the acting problem. Because it is not the way he looks which creates the problem, rather the other way round - something is wrong with the idea of the character and the implification of this cou...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

Oh dear. I hope it's NOT the case. Good (and sad) point about these people under 60. I wanted to jump in and say: Naido, cause I kind of think she is really OK. But she might be something of a spirit from another world so she could as well be 560  Mike (lodge Mike) has become something of a bi...

So when Jade brought Laura to mind... he wasn't healed enough. When he drank the coffee, he wasn't healed enough to go all the way. When TOAM told him to WAKE UP, he still wasn't healed enough to do more than follow his intuition on the paper. When he ate the cherry pie and heard the piano notes, h...
