Got mine today. Very excited. And it came in that Spider-Man 1 & 2 collector box that someone else mentioned somewhere (so I put my two Spidey films in there!). Probably start watching TP S2 tonight.

Many independent electronics stores will even offer to make your machine region-free, either for a small free, or for free if you buy a R2 machine from them.

Well, apparently my S2 set has got lost in the post (it was despatched on 2 April). Playusa.com has offered me a refund, so I've ordered from Axel. Fingers crossed for a swift delivery. I'm gagging for it now!

Tickets for IE are available now for a screening about 20 miles from me at the end of May! It's my closest venue. Must buy them soon. I'm still patiently waiting for my S2. I fear it's being held up in Customs hell. Which is not entirely a bad thing, funnily enough, because I know a little sumpn sum...

I will try Axel in the future, ideasarelikefish, but I ordered my copy from Play before your first post on the subject. Certainly I am always keen to avoid unnecessary charges, so it has that going for it at least!

I'm with Iar on this. Two R2 sets (parts 1 & 2) are going to cost around 50 clams; one complete R1 set, even with duty etc, is around 32/33. Easy decision. Plus I know I can rely on Play, whereas I've never used Axel or some of these other places.

Not sure how long S1 has been OOP, but surely most folks on here are old enough to have bought it when it was released? Well, that was my guess anyway. And of course the fact that it's so readily available in the UK made me unaware until recently that it was OOP in the States. I don't wanna double-d...
