I'm paraphrasing a bit here but I wonder what the trigger/key is for this whole project? Lynch implied he had an idea or notion for the return, some jumping off point that he could build upon. I wonder if it was a singular image or a concept - and if we've seen whatever that is yet.

You could create things 'in the world of Twin Peaks' without necessarily committing to lengthy full seasons. I'd pay to watch Big Ed fix machinery for a couple of hours. Or, y know 'Andy: Small Town, Big Heart'. You could have all kinds of fun.
