Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this? Wisteria/Unrecorded Night? Something else? (Speculation thread.)
Mtwentz is right, it is a big gamble to start a production where you don't have the budget for potential reshoots. I recently waited over a year to start production on an indie film. The main obstacle was that one lead actor was living in Barcelona, the other lead was based in London and I needed th...

Re: To the Profoundly Disappointed: Are You Still Disappointed?
I certainly wish as much care, time, design and budget had gone into "The Final Dossier" as "The Secret History". There are many things there to enjoy, but it does feel rushed and can easily be read in just one sitting. TSHOTP perfectly set up the new season and functions as one ...

Re: To the Profoundly Disappointed: Are You Still Disappointed?
Maybe many audience members didn't spot the connection between the log lady carrying her husband around in wooden form and Josie ending up in the doorknob. There should have probably been a couple of callbacks to that earlier in the episode to make it seem more mythology building and less random wei...

Re: To the Profoundly Disappointed: Are You Still Disappointed?
Just like with Audrey's awakening, episode 18 was the season finale, but not the end to "Twin Peaks", at least not according to Mark Frost. No one says that Sarah's murderous incident wont' have legal consequences. I personally love the progression from her learning the throat biting killi...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this? Wisteria/Unrecorded Night? Something else? (Speculation thread.)
TPTR is not Leland's story. "In a town like Twin Peaks no one is innocent" that is the core theme and always has been. FWWM took a justifiably harsh look on Leland Palmer. TPTR now focuses on Sarah's role in Laura's murder. Yes, Leland committed the actual bloody crime, but we see in FWWM ...

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)
That is interesting. Just to make sure I took the "what year is this?" still into Photoshop, to see if it could be the red-striped tie but with minimal lighting, but it is indeed a black tie, also used in other red room scenes in The Return. In both the pilot and episode 29 the tie is red ...

I will second BGate in not remembering that Reddit source stating the 13 episode number in advance. Personally I have never trusted that source at all, and do not believe there was ever any project called "Wisteria". "Unrecorded Night" however...

Re: Why so little of Grace Zabriskie?
I think there are probably more minutes with Grace in TPTR than in the entire old series combined. Also I think she is in The Return quite a lot, she is just put on the board pretty late in the chess game.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this? Wisteria/Unrecorded Night? Something else? (Speculation thread.)
When Bowie was asked to be in The Return, he both declined (for obvious reasons) and also requested that his FWWM dialogue not be used - although he didn't mind the flashback as images. Someone had made him feel self conscious about the slightly exaggerated southern accent he'd chosen for FWWM. It i...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this? Wisteria/Unrecorded Night? Something else? (Speculation thread.)
Mostly agree BGate, however I do think the Lynch camp could have handled the situation with the persistent rumours better than they have. At times it has felt as if there was a bit of reverse-trolling going on. The weather report non-announcement is one example, that to many fans was also almost rud...

If Sabrina is honestly surprised that she is having a hard time putting these rumours to rest it is because 1) It has been officially stated that they would have been working on a film/series project if not for the pandemic 2) Last time there were several lies about how nothing was going on (Jennife...

Yes, to all that, but it wasn't the only smoke to stoke the fire. At the same time CBS refused to renew streaming rights internationally to the show. We now know that it ended up on Paramount+ in most territories. So cancelling all fan events, announcing an official star packed event at Graceland wi...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
I assumed styrofoam coffee cup. And when there is only six cups left in Lynch's studio it is time for an emergency plan.
