I'll be out of town so I have to stop seeding for a while. I'll be back on May 2 and I'll resume seeding then. It would be nice if others could seed while I'm gone!

I agree. I had forgotten how awful ti was until I re-watched them this weekend. I could definitely do without that story arc. In my dream Season 3, a possessed Cooper butchers Evelyn, James and everyone involved in that story arc. James is singing 'Just You... And I' while he's being beaten to deat...

Ah, that explains it! The Twin Peaks Archive has this Promo as part of the 'Season 1 Intros, Outros, Bumpers' section. It must have come from the rerun of the season finale. It has the Episode 9 'slo-mo Bob' footage spliced against other images and scenes. It's more of a Promo/Ad than a 'Next Time o...

I just checked that scene out and I don't notice anything unusual. It's possible that there could be a layer change at that point. Does anyone know how to check where the layer change on a disc is? If you wanted to do some more investigating, you could download DVDFab Decrypter and dump that disc to...

Those of you with bittorrent clients might want to check out this file on mininova.org. There's more rare Twin Peaks material there! (Of course we should support our artists by only downloading rare and unavailable material and buying commercially available materials through proper channels.) -Steve

I just watched Episode 9 and as described, there's a vision of Bob walking through the hospital, out of focus. This is the same footage from the 'Next Time on Twin Peaks' that I mentioned in an earlier post, except cut against different footage. Spooky!

There's an out-of-focus Bob walking slowing towards the camera in one of those 'Next Time on Twin Peaks...' clips.

It's the last clip on 'Season 1 Intros, Outros, and Bumpers' on the Twin Peaks Archive

PM you email address and I can send a few screencaps if you want.

Broadcast analog television (and CRT tube TVs) are notorious for overscanning as much as 10% along the border. Television directors compensate for that in their framing, and it sounds like the official VHS tapes and the new DVDs reveal more of the original frame along the borders. Sometimes on comme...

The video is stored in DVD format in a ripped DVD folder. The .ifo and .bup files are information your DVD player needs but don't contain any movie information. (All the movie data is in the .vob files.) If you have a DVD burner, you should be able to drop the top level folder ("Twin Peaks Arch...

All my upstream bandwidth is being used to seed the torrent, so I'm going to hold off on ftp/rapidshare/etc until enough people have finished downloading and seeding. If someone else wants to throw it on an FTP site or upload it elsewhere, that's great. Or you could check back in a few weeks and I m...
