Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
You have to study this show, you can't just watch it. In which case, it's a bad TV show. You should be able to watch it; study is an option. No. +1 Also, I do recommend people rewatch (if they feel up to it), because there's so much being discovered in these, the episodes are brimming with narrativ...

I've only read to page 12 but let me be the first to my knowledge to say I WILL MISS BABY COOP WHEN HE'S GONE.

Re: Part 6 - Don't die (SPOILERS)
I can't imagine this being halved. It's so rich. It sure isn't as punishing a slog as, say, Jacques Rivette's Out 1 which I think is like 12 90-minute episodes, and in a year I've gotten through maybe three despite being a big fan. Rivette was another comparison I think we could make to the mode Ly...

Re: Part 5 (SPOILERS)
Anyone have any complaints about the Hawk and Andy scene? It was short, so it was not too bad in that regard, but it rubbed me the wrong way as a scene that would normally appear on a deleted scenes portion of a DVD. Yeah, it was pretty random. I chuckled a bit when I watched it, I'll admit it, but...

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)
So speaking of Drugged out Mother, this Rancho Rosa is a pretty seedy place for something that looks like a nice new suburban development. You've got one house being used by a prostitute and another by a drug addict. I wonder what if any significance Rancho Rosa will have to the overall plot. Is it...

So when posting questions like 'How long would you enthusiasts like the paint-drying scene to be?' I know they're unlikely to receive an answer -- really, they're intended more for the sceptics, to contribute to the discussion and occasionally, as with raindog, to have some fun. Talking of which, I...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
Seems to be a transatlantic difference in how its being received. I suspect the cozy-mystery nature was what drew many who are disappointed now (as separate from a purely nostalgic and reductive impulse). Quite simply it isn't going to be in everyone's taste who liked the first two seasons.

I didn't burst into tears, I thought: "oh, well, perhaps after all there's going to be some good out of ths new Twin Peaks..." but yeah - all the last Roadhouse scene I enjoyed a lot. James is cool! To answer your first question, the human drama was all located in the Cooper story, and we...

Can anybody tell me what time in the show it occurs please? I want to go back to it. Thankyou. The scene starts at 6 minutes into episode 2. Thanks. I managed to find it by skipping through. From that GIF I also think I see Bob leaving Phyliss. His head seems to be arched upwards and can make out a...
