Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
The 'zombie' scene was supposed to be indicative of how out-of-sorts and strange the town had become in recent years but I don't see it TBH. You need more than that and a few visual glitches. If 119 woman had lived at the trailer park and maybe a couple of other scenes had been included then maybe, ...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
Masterpiece? Well, they're creaming themselves already because the Washington Post still like it. And dropping in asides that imply anyone who thinks otherwise is a cultural moron. I think about the show every day, and can't wait for the weekend to be over. This suggests to me that as long as the la...

Re: Theories & Speculation (SPOILERS)
I think we assume Coop is here to save the day, but Laura is The One. She surely can't be a victim again, so wonder how this will play out.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
I think the concern would be that they'd do something ridiculous - like put the lead character in a waking coma.

re. Al Strobel.
I wonder if the reason we've heard little in the way of new, very recognisable material from Badalamenti is age related. I know there has been a smattering of new tunes but nothing comparable to first time round.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
Mike's lessened 'power' may simply be due to the the fact that Al Strobel is 78 years old. He's clearly a little frail and combined with the way Lynch has shot the Red Room, he sometimes looks a little diminished.

Uh, Lynch was chastising him for improvising. It was a turn of phrase - not a plot leak!

Re: When do you think will "Dougie" snap back to being Cooper? (Spoilers)
How long was Coop in Las Vegas? A week? Ten days? Let's not paint this as some kind of zen-like journey of healing and self-discovery. Dude barely had time to learn which end of a fork was which.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
This thread has been notably harsh on Lynch - Frost less so. Yet I wonder if the lack of simple entertainment that many have highlighted should be laid at his door. I think you could see a problem even before the series began - that hidden supposed message in the spines of books in an image in TSHOT...

Re: Theories & Speculation (SPOILERS)
What no-one knows is that the Entertainment Weekly images weren't taken at a photo shoot - they're screen grabs from the final episode. TPTR is actually a tribute to Friends.

This is a 300+ message discussion. Can't see how it would have been comprehensible lost inside another thread.

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
It certainly seems like an incomplete arc at the moment. Like the Steven and Becky story, we'll need to see if we get anything else.

Can it be a coincidence that Audrey and Cooper both appear to have 'awoken' in the same episode?
