Re: David Lynch UK Conference 2009 Oct 30th -Nov 1st

Wow! I'll be booking a ticket for this for sure. I'm guessing there won't be a Q&A, given there's no mention of this on the site (and I reckon that would be a major selling point for many), and the number of people giving talks. My guess: it'll be the weirdest conference not to be organised by D...

Julee Cruise - Falling (Demo) in here, yeah?

Continuing on from this thread ... I tried a few automated click-removal processes, but they all had a detrimental effect on the song itself, so that was no good. What I've done is tried to iron out ( by hand ) all the most obvious pops in the quieter bits of the song, particularly the fade-out. To ...

Re: FALLING demo

Hold tight piero and co., it'll be online within 24 hours. Just need to iron out some pops and clicks. I'll probably bung it in a new thread with an eye-catching title too.

Re: FALLING demo

Afraid so. I was supposed to see him on the 31st, but here in the UK the train companies have gone on strike, forcing my friend to stay at home. There is a possibility of getting it through on Sunday, but it's not a guarantee.

Re: FALLING demo

I've got my friend to do a recording of this on his superior vinyl set-up, so it should be appearing within the next week or two now, depending when I next see him.

Re: Mulholland Drive - The Opera

With the obvious exception of the Club Silencio, I cannot possibly fathom how this could ever work as an opera*. As such, I can't wait to hear some of it...

*unless you're going down the Jerry Springer: The Opera route, which I'm assuming you're not.
