Re: The Movie
This is definitely one of my favorite Lynch films. I wrote a little synopsis for the film here - http://twinpeaksfanatic.blogspot.com/20 ... heart.html

Re: OT: The X-Files revival
I'm a big X-files fan & I agree it feels a bit choppy. I believe they are airing the episodes differently than orginally planned. I think last nights episode was supposed to air as the second episode but was switched for whatever reason. However I'm still enjoying it & never expected it to b...

Re: Episode 9
I was also wondering who called Lucy at the station. I never really thought about it before, but after rewatching to do my recap, see here --> http://twinpeaksfanatic.blogspot.com/2016/02/recap-of-episode-9.html I found myself wondering about that phone call. Also I know there are a lot of theories,...

Re: Episode 8 (Season 2 Premiere)
This is one of my favorite episodes in the series. I've always been partial to the David Lynch directed episodes, but the Season 2 opener, in my opinion, really sets the stage for the dark side of Twin Peaks. I wrote a recap for the episode here -- > http://twinpeaksfanatic.blogspot.com/2016/01/reca...

A Twin Peaks Year End Wrap Up
There's been some sadness, periods of stillness, at times a feeling like if we shut our eyes we'd burst into flames, a lot that couldn't be revealed, but thankfully through the grace of David Lynch and Mark Frost we're finally purified. In 2017, we're getting 18 new episodes written and directed by ...

Re: Episode 7
I think Ray Wise is masterful in Jacques' death scene. The combination of tears and calculation clearly demonstrates the duality struggle within him. It's definitely one of the best in the series.

Re: Windom Earle - Master of Disguise
The Windom stuff is no doubt bad and over the top, but I think when you've seen the series many times in it's entirety he melds into the backdrop as being more amusing vs. scary. In that sense, I personally always enjoyed him much more. Where as the Evelyn plot is nearly unwatchable to me. "Lov...

Re: Lynch modified FWWM at Cannes chief's request?
I think Lynch should be proud of FWWM's cut. The missing pieces are amazing and I'm glad fans can see them, but that movie told Laura's story beautifully and horrifically. Not to mentiom that Sheryl Lee killed it in her performance. Personally I think it's his best film other than Mulholland Dr.

White face or fireplace, Windom still ranks higher than Evelyn, Little Nikki, Lana & MT Wentz

Windom Earle - Master of Disguise
Just for fun. I got thinking about all the crazy disguises Windom wore on Twin Peaks and decided to put a blog post together for it. What's your favorite Windom Earle costume?

I should try that myself. Since Lynch is directing all the new episodes, I think all the new stuff will feel like one long Lynch film.

Re: Episode 6
I went back to read my 2008 episode guide, written during my first rewatch, and it's crazy how underwhelmed I was by this on my second-ever viewing (not sure how I felt on the first - I was probably more invested but maybe a bit frustrated that we had to wait to find out what happened with everythi...
