Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
I'm really looking forward to see GreenGloveMan in action. The lynchian super-hero is born and he will kick some ass! Or more probably punch tem. I will not be surprised to learn that a comic spin-off is already on the way... I might also add I am willing to bet that most that like it are Liberal Vo...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
So making jokes about coffee in the Black Lodge, and having Jimmy Scott sing Under the Sycamores is not goofy humor? My mom and I laughed about these scenes for years :-). The coffee scene is meant to be bizarre, showing the effects of the lodge on a simple thing like coffee, but not funny like a c...

Because Belucci came with French money attached. Those froggies... they're everywhere, sneaky little cockroaches trying to blend in despite speaking a 5 yo level english. They can't fool anybody though, even on a forum... By the way, Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me was co-produced by? Yes, them...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
Using the Red Room for slot machines and cherry pies is something you may or may not like, but I for one certainly do not see it as a big break thematically or in tone from the original series.   We fans have really big differences of opinion. I was stunned then I first see it...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
I was on board with the possession thing of the original TP (Mike & Bob), Iiked the woodsmen introduced in episode 8 of TPTR, even the scary mutant bug frog. But now this new kind of evil possession/manifestation is too much to swallow, too abstract. I was ready to see the bug coming out of her ...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
I don't have a clear opinion for this one, some parts I liked, some parts I don't. Liked :D - The Window cleaner (silly but funny) - The forest scene, the gold pool / White Lodge portal (the opposite of the oil one at Glastonberry Grove I suppose) - The Fireman scene with Andy - James and his friend...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
i swear they've been discussing a digital glitch that you can't even see for like the last 10 pages or more! To be fair, even on my modest laptop I was able to see it (after hearing about it in a review on youtube). And Big Ed Hurley's facial expression can easily be interpreted as a reaction to hi...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
I think it's incredibly presumptuous and insulting. "Faculties in decline?" You can have a legitimate issue and dislike the new series without jumping to "Lynch is clearly a hateful old man/pervert/senile". The other option being he's just became a very bad writer/director, it's...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
The floor of the Blacklodge is all CGI, I noticed several glitches in episode 2, in the lodge hallway just before the evolution of the arm scene. There is a distortion of the floor pattern between Mike's legs, then between the two characters while entering the arm's room. http://images.imagebam.com/...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
Thank you for your touching answer. I've been to EuroDisney (aka Disneyland Paris nowadays) in august 1992 with my father. I've just realized it was 25 years ago this year. But my special place was the town where I met my first love, long gone now. Once in a while I went back there, it was like goin...
