Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread

Hey just occurred to me- with 4 hours being released at once, maybe the idea of having a 'Twin Peaks party" is out the window for a lot of us? I can imagine watching two hours with a bunch of friends, but not four. I'm taking Monday off work. I think I can tolerate being around other people fo...

Re: Showtime to Re-broadcast Original Series Early Next Year

still on Netflix as well. Not sure if they will drop in January.....

I've been through the series 3 or 4 times with selected episodes more than that since the announcement of S3 came out.

once release date is set I'll go through them again with the wife.

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks

ok just went back there. MIdnight is correct (for me) I am currently in Eastern US time zone -- 11:13pm. it had O hours, 47 mins and whatever secs. Day left are 80. Which is 3+31+31=65 and 15 make midnight on Feb15th/16th morning. So we still have the 10 hour, 10 mins difference to figure out. I can...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks

Some of the interpretations of TSHOTP are pretty interesting, but the writer seems like he is having some serious mental issues. Might be reading a little too much into it all. That said, I did find speculation about this countdown timer pretty interesting: http://www.falseprophet-hq.com/ Do you th...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks

It's the 'Pete played checkers, not chess' bit that I can't believe. It's so specific an inconsistency. He couldn't possibly have forgotten all those chess scenes (could he?). It almost seems outright spiteful! That is the bad one to me. And as a chess player I thought the whole concept was a joke ...

Re: Does Anyone Dislike Episode 29?

I didn't care for it. All that running around when you have no idea of the layout just annoys me. Laura screaming over and over was just ridiculous. (I fall asleep to Netflix trying to get Peaks dreams and those scenes always wake me up, along with the neighbors) More friends! Hey, woohoo. Where is ...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks

how bout some kudos for MF? He brought Carl Rodd back into the fold when he had nothing to do with FWWM. I thought that was a great touch and explanation for "I've already gone places". The Josie backstory was awesome. Explains why she had no probs putting some slugs into COOP, which I alw...

Re: The Secret History of Twin Peaks (SPOILERS)

What a day to work from home. Rarely am I in on breaking news. (was just praying that poster's phone stayed charged!) Agree it was just the perfect amount. For me the mysterious force Franklin latched onto hit the hardest. Love the electricity connection in all my fave shows (see name) and movies li...

I was guessing the 2 days was mail time. Amazon quoted me the 20th too.

If not it's an internet blackout for me until I receive it

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18

Just pre-ordered my copy. Was gonna wait but I also snagged Laura's diary and the Duke work Reflections for reading in the meantime. Might as well utilize my 30-day free trial Any other hot tips? I passed on Cooper's tapes but could be talked into it. I see a lot of quoting from that work on this si...

Re: Episode 14

One thing that bothers me is Leland's comment that "You just missed her / I took her to the train station" when asked by James/Donna about Maddy's whereabouts. One or 2 eps before this one Maddy stated she would be driving back home. I can see if this is just a scramble up with BOB not car...
