Oh dear. They get credit for using the original Twin Peaks typeface and two fantastic pictures but they could dispense with 'Music' from the top (or 'Season Two Music and More' from the bottom) because pointing out the album contains music twice is a bit excessive. It's like, I get the message, ther...

Yet I'm assuming the powers that be will expect us to be all over their CD like a cheap suit when they deign to share it with us? I'm sure they'll have used stills we've seen many times before, and unless they've created a new typeface just for this release I'm guessing that'll be pretty generic too...

I couldn't agree more. I wasn't sure about downloads in the beginning but they're so much more flexible than an 80 minute CD. Shelly Quits has had 37263 plays on Angelo Badalamenti's MySpace page! Even if only a small percentage of those people followed a link to iTunes and paid 79p (or the equivale...

I know what you mean Dugpa. I sometimes worry I'll be dead by the time the FWWM deleted scenes are finally released and I'm not joking, which is damn scary. I'm sure before long we'll be lobbying for a HD DVD or Blu-Ray release of FWWM and then I hope that's it. I have the series in a format I can w...

A few thoughts on the new Twin Peaks CD, which I'm very excited about... 1. The CD will be easy enough to get hold of before its UK release, through Amazon Marketplace or Amazon US. Most people already have companies they buy their import DVDs and CDs from (one of the joys of being a non-US DL fan)....

I thought Catching The Big Fish was fantastic too. I'm not sure why people were disappointed because there's more about Twin Peaks and the films in there than I was expecting and the subject matter's more accessible than I thought it would be. I prefer the audiobook to the book because turning the p...

I debated whether to post my comments for exactly that reason. I found myself going round the houses to make a very simple point and I didn't think people would follow my train of thought. The trouble with these threads (and there have been many) is that people want to discuss non-existent details o...

Now season two has been released in the US and Europe it's only a matter of time before Ebay UK is flooded with bootleg DVD-R's, and they're not exactly proactive in dealing with pirate copies. I've noticed a couple of season two bootlegs on Ebay already. It bothers me that people have the nerve to ...

I love The Straight Story too. I know Mark Kermode described it as Forrest Gump on a lawnmower but it's a beautiful film and IMHO it's criminally underrated.

It's sad that Optimum didn't include the extras from the R1 disc on the UK release because Optimum was very supportive of Inland Empire on its theatrical release. Since my R1 edition arrived the Optimum DVD has become redundant. It wouldn't have been so bad if the interviews had covered new ground b...

The cover art for the UK release is much better than the R1 edition... I have the Virgin exclusive version, with the black & silver design. It looks fantastic - far superior to the Region 1 version. However, I still prefer the rear sleeve on the US edition, and it goes without saying that my Re...

I paid for priority shipping for my Amazon.com order and the packaging it arrived in was useless. The DVDs were rattling around in a big bix with a couple of bags filled with air. IE was okay (until I tried removing the security stickers which tore the inlay card) but another DVD in the same order h...
