Recommendations for Watching While Waiting for Season 3
While we're here twiddling our thumbs waiting for Season 3, here's my shortlist of shows to watch that somewhat catch the spirit of Twin Peaks, or at least I believe our good and will entertain most people who are Twin Peaks fans, even if they are nothing like Peaks: 1. Fargo (I have not seen this y...

Re: The Unorthodox/Controversial TP Opinion Thread
So, let's get back to bashing S 2 :) In seriousness, there's absolutley NOTHING wrong with the show centering on Renault, Packard and Eckhardt for a while (if anything, those storylines could've been expanded a little more) and with Earle and Annie becoming the nexus of the show in the last 5-6 epi...

Re: Showtime to Re-broadcast Original Series Early Next Year
For what it's worth, the days of the week and the dates of the month are the same in 2017 as they were in 1989. It would be possible to release the re-runs starting Friday, February 24 and conclude (the series) Monday, March 27, coinciding with the actual dates covered in the first two season... I'...

Re: Showtime to Re-broadcast Original Series Early Next Year
I am not too bothered by the re-airing personally (I have the episodes ) I know. I think it's nice of Showtime to do this for those who watched the show a long time ago or don't have access to it, but most of us have all the episodes and FWWM at home. Why is it important or relevant how or wh...

Re: SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime SPOILERS Thre
Damn, could that mean we won't see the new season until 30+ weeks into 2017 :-( Was hoping for a late January bow. Maybe they will show two episodes a week? I'll call it now. There will be a short teaser for the new series after each rerun episode. I would agree, Yes, they will have some original c...

Re: SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime SPOILERS Thre
The is waaaaayyy off topic, but since so many of you have been to Twin Peaks Festivals, and I haven't, I can only brag about the next best thing- I saw Miguel Ferrer at a Sci Fi Convention playing in a band led by Billy Mumy. Two things came from that: 1. I met Miguel- super nice guy, absolutely not...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/
Until then, better to avoid this thread. What about the S3 spoilers thread? It might take me a while to get the book, should I avoid it too? The more I think about it, the more I think it's better to stay off this forum altogether until I'm finished reading the book. I don't know if there's any thr...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/
News from London Book Fair - the book goes right back to the 18th century and right up to... the start of the forthcoming series. :D Do you have a link? This is great to hear. edit: I see now it was tweeted out by Jerry Horne. Is this info from someone on the ground in London, Jerry? No link, I'm a...

Re: Episode 9
Wasn't it the Asian guy Johnnathan who called Lucy? That's what I always assumed.
