Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
I hope, that maybe... maybe CBS/Paramount makes some kind of deal with Warners and includes FWWM and the deleted scenes as extras for the new Blu Ray set, with maybe some new supplemental material about the movie as well. I know it is a long shot, but really, it makes financial sense. Seems that the...

Re: If Lynch died?
I've always felt that Lynch's co-ownership of Twin Peaks with Frost is what's kept any new Twin Peaks material from happening. I mean, it seems in every interview that Lynch gives about TP, he says something like "I dream about it" or "I think about that place and those characters oft...

Re: How do you feel about Fire Walk With Me?
I love FWWM. But my relationship to this movie is weird, because I got my hands on the shooting script several months before the movie came out and devoured it. I remember I got it at the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors convention in early 1992, and then I found a corner to myself somewhere at the con a...

Re: New David Lynch DVD Box - the Lime Green Set
Wow....$180 frickin' dollars. Seriously, that's insane. Especially with the economy the way it is right now. Who has that kind of money at the moment? Sure, I've been wanting Industrial Symphony, but I don't think anyone wants it THAT bad. The only way I can see there being any justification on this...

It seems the general opinion is that Twin Peaks went wrong in Season 2, but to me that's not really true. I think episodes 8-16 are just as brilliant, if not more so than Season 1. Heck, I'll even give them episode 17 ( Leland's wake ) as a nice coda on the whole Laura storyline. But the following 5...

Great Interview! I gotta say, the box set has been a dream come true for me. From the moment I heard Charles de Lauzirika was involved, I knew the set was in good hands, knowing his work from the awesome Alien Quadrilogy set. Lots of things I thought would never make it onto this set DID make it, li...

but Lynch didn't walk away from Twin Peaks. He was featured in episodes, and he directed the finale. And most of the cast and crew knew that the series was not going to be picked up again. The network cancelled the series, not Lynch. The series finale had been finished for less than a few weeks whe...

If David had been given the support 10-15 years ago he would almost certainly have done more, but the world seemed to have lost interest at that point. Now he's moved on, and over time I've gotten used to the open-ended ending, and in 'some ways' find it quite fitting. Do we really want everything ...

I gotta say, I have always been for a continuation. I know some people think it ends perfectly, and although I can kind of see how the Cooper/BOB stuff is an ending of a sort, but the cliffhangers involving Audrey, Ben, Leo etc. are just straight up cliffhangers, and not resolving them just plain su...

This set looks packed to the gills....I'm thrilled! ( except for the bad cover art and no graphic novel of course ) The two things I found most strangely absent from the set is The Twin Peaks 12 Days of Christmas that was done for the KROQ Christmas album here in LA in 1990, and the Agent Cooper tap...

I was skeptical till I saw the graphics. They're stunning. The one of Laura is beautiful, and the Bob one is really great, really captures the look, the feel and the RAGE of the character. I'm not a big fan of comics or graphic novels (or, rather, just not familiar with many of them) but I think th...

Great interview, Jerry. Thanks. I really wish this would have happened. I'm reminded of the mini graphic novel packaged with the recent 'Escape From New York' dvd. I must have read it twice, yet, i could not tell you the details of it now. It did not confuse my reading of the movie. It simply confi...

*Sigh* That interview made this project sound awesome . It would have made the DVD set truly, truly great. This whole interview is making me super irritated at Lynch right now, especially since Twin Peaks is not soley his baby..it was a a collaboration made with lots of other people. I hope someday ...
