Re: Huffington Post Publishes Article Today on DL Coffee
Wow, great shot of David! I like his haircut, his shirt, the composition of the image, the big mug 'o joe, and the text on the picture! That pic could very well become a desktop image
The article is a fun little read, too!

Re: Sad
I'd take it on DVD if I could get it. Blu-ray would be even better, of course. I love to see the different editions from other countries.
Annie wrote:That was in 2007 and they had a hard time locating it. Most have moved on to Blu-ray.

Thank you for asking! I hope he can find it and wishes to post it some day. It's "DUNE - The ULTIMATE Edition DVD," which is also the name of the topic here in the Dune section where they talk about it. http://www.dugpa.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=341 Heard back from John Neff and h...

Re: David & Isabella in 1992
It's a great picture. They both look so young! And, she looks so thin there. Did she lose weight after Blue Velvet, or gain for the film? I saw an interview with her, and she refers to herself as "the fat girl" from Blue Velvet. She said something like ...David got all the accolades and I ...

Pabst Blue Ribbon - Blue Velvet "TV commercial"
At last, the TV commercial Lynch did for Pabst Blue Ribbon sees the light of day! (Ok, so this is obviously a fake TV commercial for Pabst Blue Ribbon, edited from Blue Velvet, but it's a good job): http://youtu.be/3Sm8JM-K1dc I wonder how long it's going to last online, as it's infringing on the Pa...

Re: Sad
Awesome, Annie! Thanks! ;) I'm on a bit of a Dune kick recently. I just heard about that 4 DVD Dune set and I'm going to have to track it down. Also, I got the Dune book by Herbert, so I'm going to give that a read, then go back and see the film again. I'm pretty sure we had asked John if he still h...

Wow, John, great stories! Any chance of the audio interview with you and Herbert being made available to hear? quote="John Neff"]I lived in Maui at the time that Dune was made, and Frank Herbert had a home there. I was doing a morning radio show at the time, and knew that a movie was being...

Re: Whatever Happened to DL.com?
Ok, then a multi-disc box set! ;) I think you get what I am saying - It would be great to be able to have those elevator doors move again and the sound play again! To enter that atmosphere! It's an easy matter to make a Web site work on a stand-alone computer, and not online. It could come on a few ...

Re: Whatever Happened to DL.com?
DL.com was a grand experiment and I hope it will be revived. There is so much more than could be done with it, both creativley and from a promotional viewpoint. I just don't get it why DL.com was such a wasted opportunity, and agree with what others have expressed here. Many times I would find out a...

Re: The Complete Blue Velvet Filming Locations
Great stuff, thanks!
That's interesting about the ghost in The Williams House during filming! I'd love to hear more about that, or any other stories you picked up in your journey to visit the BV locations.

Re: Seven Directors Who Could Handle DUNE...
That a great article posted on the front page - "The Story of Dune By Scott Sentinella" My vote would have been for/is for Alejandro Jodorowsky for a remake: "In the mid-"˜70s, it appeared that Dune would become the third major mind-bender of midnight movie director Alejandro Jod...
