Re: L.B.

I'm sorry, but it just sounds ugly to hear someone justify and make excuses for a woman who shamelessly cheats on her husband. Also, when you say that Nikki wasn't having fun, you must be watching a different film than the rest of us. Watch that sex scene again...at least the parts before the sudden...

Re: L.B.

Sorry, but I stand by my comments - "kind souls" don't cheat on their husbands the way Nikki cheated on Piotrek.

Re: L.B.

well, i see her as a kind soul. A kind soul who repeatedly lies to her elderly neighbor? A kind soul who dismisses this elderly neighbor and tells her to leave after repeatedly lying to her? A kind soul who shamelessly cheats on her husband the first chance she gets? If that's your idea of kind, I ...

Re: Where did the gun come from?

'Why is the title of this old Polish film in German?'

And this such an underdiscussed point! My feeling is that the unfinished 47 was a in fact a German film that was simply about Poland.

Makes sense to me.

Re: L.B.

perhaps Piotrek is the son of someone involved in the production of 4 7.Pehaps someone who wants closure with to the deah of a parent(s)? I've long suspected that Piotrek orchestrated the whole affair; he wanted Nikki to get the OHBT role and become enmeshed in the curse in order to save Lost Girl ...

Re: L.B.

The next scene's first word is 'Piotrek ?'. Yes. Lynch arranged quite a few of the scenes, especially the ones in Nikki's story, in this way. The scenes answer each other, or are responses to each other. For instance, after Kingsley relays the story of the 19 year-old neice asking "Who's playi...

Re: L.B.

When Nikki "answers" the question, it is obviously not a literal answer. Lynch edited the scenes in such a way as to subtly tell the attentive viewer that Peter Lucas is playing Smithy.

Re: "It Was Red"

carl: I have no theory about Gordy being sought; I do not think he is. This is my point, that the man being sought is the man Smithy works for , who is The Phantom, not Gordy. OK, now I get it. We basically agree. I still don't see any indication that Piotrek Krol is co-starring with Nikki and Devon...

You probably won`t be able to prove that.

Sure I will. In fact, I just did.

Now try to prove otherwise.

Re: Where did the gun come from?

I do not see this. Her butt seems bigger and her waistline thicker. You don't see it because you didn't compare the two scenes that I suggested you do. In chapter 1 of IE, there is a quick shot of Lost Girl watching TV. The camera is behind her and we see the back of her head and her shoulders. No ...

Re: "It Was Red"

It doen't really change my mind as to who is being sought with the gun, though. What is your theory about why Gordy is being sought with the gun? We ( okay, I) do not know, however, that Piotrek is not also an actor playing Smithy. After the Starlight Celebrity Show, Devon's people warn him to not ...

Re: Where did the gun come from?

Except, just maybe, the one after the first time Sue 'sees'. Great point. I honestly didn't want to mention that scene because I felt it would open up a whole new can of worms. But you are completely right and kudos to you for being so observant. Is she? I see her as either Ormond or a stand-in. If...

Re: Where did the gun come from?

The woman in white sounds ready to kill and it would be the Gruszka character she means to kill. Only problem here is that the woman in white is Gruszka... But all of these people in Poland we seem to see in their roles in the 4-7 movie, except perhaps the corpse played by Lucas; he may be the acto...
