Re: How would you rank David Lynch's films?

Absolutely it can cover a huge area. I'm thinking more of the actual subjects of the films. 1)Lost Highway. The film revolves around the identities of the Fred & Renee characters. Fred turns into someone else and at the end turns back. Then you have Alice & Renee played by the same actress. ...

Re: How would you rank David Lynch's films?

What you say sounds interesting but some of it i can't understand because of the lack of punctuation. Sorry.

Many directors do work on the same types of themes that's for sure. It's just that Mr Lynch's current themes are very specific. Problems of identity. and....er.....that's it!

Re: David Lynch Lime Green Box Set Discussion

Thanks! So the letter box format has the best sound then...worth knowing as i probably wouldn't have even thought to check that one out. I just went straight to the 4:3 one as that was the ratio of the original video release.

Re: How would you rank David Lynch's films?

I can see where Jerry's coming from. LH, MD, IE & part of Hotel are all about confused identities. In a way they are all variations on the same theme so I can see how someone could get a bit tired of that after 10 years of it. For me, it doesn't bother me as there is always so many other things ...

Re: Best Price Info for the David Lynch Lime Green Box Set

Thanks a lot for the quick reply cubist. I think I'm going to order a copy even though the price is a little bit over 80 pounds right now. Anyway it's still cheaper to buy it there than on all of the other sites so thanks again for the hint cubist. The way poor old sterling is going it may well be ...

Re: Best Price Info for the David Lynch Lime Green Box Set

I ordered from the USA company CAIMAN via AMAZON UK. They were offering the set for £70 via their Caiman Bargain imprint. I got a question about the condition of the dvd set because on amazon.co.uk it says that the Lime green set that Caiman is offering is only in used like new condition. So can y...

Well, despite my moanings I've ordered the green one! Managed to sell a bunch of DVDs I could live without... I bought it from Caiman for just over £70. THat's not bad considering the state of the British currency! It's been shipped so maybe I'll be lucky and get it before Xmas. I wanted to ask som...

A question for someone who has this set... Is the Blue Velvet DVD the release that includes the deleted scenes photo montage?
