Re: Scene 35

The line is in fact "I'm afraid."

Susan is retelling the Axxon N. "Old Hotel" radio story we see at the beginning of the film.

The subtitles for this film - in every language, apparently - are a train wreck.

Re: L.B.

i have commented many times on how judgement of good/bad is subjective. but to me, to make an absolute judgement on those traits for a person(or character) is not such an easy thing to do. Right, and I heartily disagree. Nikki displays no notably good qualities, but we do know that she's a liar and...

Re: L.B.

i was countering your point about the judgement of nikki as good or bad. you were pretty out of line in how you responded. Not a bit. I made a point and backed it up with evidence. More than I can say for you or the other poster who refuses to see Nikki for the slimy character she clearly is. Sorry...

Re: L.B.

JFK, Done with your baby tantrum yet? Good. Now be quiet and listen. carl, are the 'woman in white' and the woman whom The Phantom beats and 'pushes to hell' played by the same actress? Yes - Karolina Gruszka. It seems to me that one kills the other, no? Absolutely no . No one kills any of Gruszka's...

Sorry apples, you can keep pretending I haven't answered your question, but the answers all in front of your face.

The cube has been solved.

Re: L.B.

Kiddo: And I hate to keep saying this, but I already answered your question about why it matters that Gruszka is the woman in white. apples: You must be talking to someone else here. I don't think I asked that. No, I was specifically addressing you. Earlier, you asked... how does identifying the wo...

Re: L.B.

I don't know who you mean by the uncredited actress The uncredited actress is the one with her guts hanging out. She is the one whom Gruszka in white referred to when she told Polish Lucas that she would never let her have him. "Never..." She is the woman pony-tailed Gruszka murdered. Orm...

Re: L.B.

how did you all of a sudden just decide that is Gruszka? where is YOUR evidence? Sorry, but I already provided the evidence in a previous post. My intention is simply to post messages, not to endlessly repeat them or read them to you. Do your homework and go through the messages on this thread. And...

Re: L.B.

Now, even if we could tell for sure which actress played the woman in white, that doesn't answer the question, "Who is she?" But because Gruszka is the woman in white, we do know the answer to Lori and Lanni's question. She, the woman in white, is the woman who commits murder-by-screwdriv...

Re: L.B.

i philosophically disagree, regardless of your observations. As I said earlier, disagree all you like. But understand that my comments regarding the character of Nikki Grace are not presumptuous. Anything but. nikki grace is a character played by laura dern I assumed that we all understood that poi...

Re: L.B.

It depends on what you mean by "cheats" and "husband". Well...no. I was crystal clear about what I meant when I said that Nikki and Susan cheat on their husbands. No grey area, there. And no excuses for their horrendous and duplicitous behavior. But as you mention, the situation...

Re: L.B.

i think its presumptuous to judge her good or bad No, I provided evidence to bolster my comments. Regardless of whether or not you agree with my observations, they are not presumptuous. not only is she a character in a film(who gradually becomes aware she's a character) Incorrect. Nikki Grace is pe...

Re: "It Was Red"

My feeling is that Susan's world is essentially a psychic construct in which she has been trapped by the conflicting forces of Phantom and Lost Girl. Nikki is trapped in Susan's story which she has little or no control over, but the settings and characters are drawn from her psyche. So, in this sens...

Re: MTTH: Buying a watch

Carl, my feeling is also that the character who sells the watch to English-speaking Lost Girl in MTTH is Majchrzak's character in Susan Blue's world (Crimp). The twist is that he is alive in the MTTH scene and a ghost (Phantom) in the scene with the red bulb in his mouth. Susan's world is teeming wi...
