The whole album is amazing..its called "this one for blanton" by Duke Ellington and Ray Brown..a album composed only by piano and bass :)

Badalamentian Sounds

I think we all agree that Angelo Badalamenti music is unique..the way he captures the emotions musically. His music works so well, even when listening to it isolated from the scenes. He definitely created a new style..Many have named it "noir jazz". I am sure that this question was made to...

I think the main influences in Badalamenti's music are Henry Mancini (Peter Gunn soundtrack is so reminiscent of twin peaks jazzier songs) and Bernard Herrman. But i dont think the songs are similar..Perhaps the two characters share a similar loneliness (Truman and Travis), but musically speaking..no.

So far i have been able to track down: Kosmogonia - K.Penderecki (the spooky song played during the lipstick scene) Wrinkle...

I know how it feels, because im from Portugal and i know i dont have the slightest chance to buy the cd in the next few months. Ordering it online will just take too long (and tremendous expensive). But i dont want to download the album. I simply think that isnt fair to Angelo Badalamenti.. Although...

Do you think this will include some finger snappy jazz? i really enjoy those variations of freshly squeezed (especially the upbeat version in the beginning of episode 102)
