Is there anyone in the Austin TX area? I know that the Alamo does a TP showing every couple of years but I think it would be cool to get together on a regular basis for pie and coffee to watch TP at various private homes.

Just one of my zany ideas.

Don't worry imhotep and teopeaks, I didn't know either. I, too, thought the first 90 minutes of the movie was the pilot! And I thought it was awesome and was disappointed (being friendly as the offical word is around here) with ABC execs for not pursuing it. I worship MULHOLLAND DR. I watch it a cou...

Complete ITL eps would be an awesome extra for the the season 2 or complete series release. I hope someone from Paramount reads these boards and picks the idea up.

I feel bad for us too. I think there is a copyright issue involved. I hope it gets resolved as soon as possible and is available on the complete set due to come out in the US later this year.

Where were you on 9/18/86? I think I first saw BV on VHS. I became familiar with DL's work on Twin Peaks and wanted to see what else he had done. Wow!

I'm not going to add anything except that I'm salivating. Okay not something polite people wish to contemplate but I'll order mine in a couple of weeks.

I haven't checked in yet. My name is Richard. I live in Austin, TX. I am a screenwriter and used to be a psychotherapist. I just saw David Lynch at the Paramount Theater when he brought INLAND EMPIRE. He was here with Crista Bell and had a Q&A after the movie. He is amazing in person. What a guy...

Come to think of it, maybe the weirdness is what's missing. However, I think DL is an excellent film maker and find myself willing to follow him anywhere. I saw IE and loved it. The weirdness is there but so is a solid story. I can't analze each scene but it is an excellent film. DL was there for a ...

I was at the IE Austin showing with DL himself in attentance for a Q and A. He said that he loved Angelo but that Angelo didn't live next door. He said people kept coming by to work on the music with him. So there isn't any of Angelo's music unfortunately but the music in the film was fantastic. He ...

I'm glad you posted this. I keep meaning to try to find it and read it. I rather like the movie although most Lynch fans I know don't. I think one of the Wrapped In Plastic eds said no matter how many times he watched WAH he just didn't get it.

I haven't heard from them in a while. I, too, look forward to more WIP especially with IE out now. I wonder what John and Craig thought of it?

I'm hoping that one of our local, Austin TX, coffee shops offers it. Otherwise it will be a while before I can afford it. The $16.95 isn't so bad, but the charges for shipping give me pause. Or paws, if you're an animal lover.

One wonders what the rights holder hopes to achieve by withholding the copyright? They aren't waiting for more money are they?
