Re: Share your favourite FAN THEORIES
I think it's just a literal way of Lynch saying "okay, we are done with you, Des", and has nothing really to do with the mythology. Actualy, I don't think you can say that. I mean... Lynch is known to use an unsuspected event and use it greatly. Even if Kyle was meant to play this part of...

Re: Share your favourite FAN THEORIES
I was aware of the CD/DC trick (there are others like the fact that 2 sentences are repeated twice in this part of the movie or the fact that DM is the exact opposite of TP...) but I can't see how this fits with the disappearance of Chester Desmond which is announced when everybody is awake... Nor d...

Re: Share your favourite FAN THEORIES
Nice one even though it doesn't make sense to me. :) I've read once that the whole first part of FWWM (all the part with Chester Desmond) was Cooper's dream about the investigation HE made himself earlier (dreaming of himself as Desmond). Even if I disagree, I have to say that it makes sense for som...

Re: Who were the three that had seen Bob but not his body?
Laura chooses to see Leland or BOB According to the circumstances. Of course this is not a deliberate choice.

Re: Who were the three that had seen Bob but not his body?
I don't know if the Giant is talking about Coop, Laura's mother, Maddy... "Only one known to you." As this one is ready to talk, it is Ronette, no doubt about it for me. I don't really know what "known" means here... At first, I thought he was speaking of the night it happened. I...

Re: Blue Velvet and Wild at Heart at Noisy le grand (Fr)
@ kafard : thanx for the info. I'll try to check it out. :) @ Annie : Oz is not very well known here in France I think. I mean... I know the overall story, I've seen once a animation movie about it and I know some characters... But not that much. For the rest, I find W@H no less weird than Blue Velv...

Noisy le grand, near Paris.
A very small theater but a very interesting one.
I have to watch W@H again as I've seen this is one of your favorite one.

Re: Blue Velvet and Wild at Heart at Noisy le grand (Fr)
It was yesterday and it was a great evening.
10€ for 2 great movies and a nice lunch... A big big deal here.
Even if there wasn't enough time to talk between the two movies...
I really enjoyed Blue Velvet.
I was a little disappointed by WaH. Not my favourite DL movie (but not bad at all).

Re: Movie on big screen in France the 29th of june.
I've never seen WAH yet. I'm really happy I could discover this one in this condition.
I now cross my fingers, hoping this will be a successfull event so they might plan to make another one with FWWM and INLAND EMPIRE. Who knows ?
