Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

You're not listening; I said the way they're going about their message looks ungrateful. I don't agree. YMMV. Getting a sequel you never dreamed of to a favorite show 27 years later, and then not even an entire year later going past the creators of said show to those who aired it and demanding they...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

Lynch has gone on the record saying if he does any more it won't be for awhile. Why is that not good enough for some people? Does that fly right over their heads? Who is saying it isn't other than you? All these campaigns do is show support for another season. You're not listening; I said the way t...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

What's wrong with people wanting more Twin Peaks? And what sign do you have that Lynch/Frost aren't interested? All their public commentary is at the very least open to the possibility. No one is forcing or pressuring them. I never said anything was wrong with wanting more at all, nor did I say Lyn...

Re: Music From The New Series

Regarding the Threnody situation; pretty expected, but Rhino never responded to my message about it. I guess they haven't received any other attention for it. Kinda sad because that key piece should be included as stated; no other version does it justice.

Re: RE: Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

I'm not sure who started it. It seems there are some folks out there who want a fourth season. Interestingly enough, I've seen many crew members involved. Maybe they are profoundly disappointed at the amount of screen time they got (and resultant cheque) so are lobbying for one - final - pay day. O...

Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31 (SPOILERS)

But you know to quote Frost this is what happens in real life. I have no idea why they bothered to retcon Wheeler, have Audrey now attached to fake Cooper (to recall the original pairing from the glory days of the series), break free of the Horne empire and money, have a devil child... and then do ...

Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31 (SPOILERS)

I get Frost self-insert vibes from the Jacoby section. That's all I'm gonna say about that.

Otherwise, I'm almost done and it's a much more interesting read than the other book.

Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31 (SPOILERS)

I am going with the thought that Sarah Palmer doesn't become fully possessed by Judy until it's released from the glass box, the Frog Bug is just something that was planted in her that marks her as a person that Judy can possess Ah, good point. Yeah, I could see that being the case. But this sort o...

Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31 (SPOILERS)

Lil nitpick about this book: Albert's out-of-character-for-the-times use of the phrase "trigger warning" is not only silly but a lil self-righteously projecting. It's like Frost writing as Albert, which it IS but breaks suspension of disbelief. He didn't think this through enough which is ...

Re: There are 2 Coopers in the Red Room itself

It wouldn't matter if Lynch came out and confirmed it was intentional because some have it stuck in their thick skulls obsessions with artists/creators "doing wrong" on an infinite trip to be the always critic. IDK how many of you play video games but that new game Cuphead has instances of...

Re: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Blu-ray 12/5/17

Says who? Sabrina Sutherland said in one of her talks there were some deleted scenes, but not too many. Didn't lurkers who saw filming in WA confirm there was a cut restaurant scene between Dr. Jacoby and Nadine? And one between Big Ed and Steven at the gas station? Sabrina Sutherland said that the...

Actually he did, Sabrina Sutherland said he is now open to the idea.
Really?? Good lord did I miss that. Saying he did change his mind, I don't know how I feel about it.

Re: Criterion edition 10/17/17

This ended up being a pretty superfluous release. I love watching Sheryl and Angelo talk about this world, but neither contributes much of substance that we haven’t heard in countless other interviews (Angelo has a couple of anecdotes that are new to me, such as the recording of “The Black Dog Runs...
