I've just been reading about it in Full Of Secrets. All that talk of "the net" and how one day everyone will have access to this sort of thing and governments will use it... It's all so quaint and Olde Worlde now we have what we have today!

I've never seen Nadja, though I had it on tape for the longest time.

I'm fascinated by the Fisher Price PXL-something Pixelvision camera, but they cost a lot to buy these days. There's a guy who sells customized ones, all digital-ready, on eBay, too.

The Culture Show

There was an interesting segment on The Culture Show on BBC2 yesterday (Saturday 3 March): an interview with Lynch about his exhibition in Paris. Also showed quite a few of the artworks. I'm sure it'll pop up on YouTube for our American cousins sometime. Meanwhile those of you in the UK should look ...

Iar, I suspect it's because you ordered only the coffee? I ordered the DVD too, which pushed my total up beyond the £18 import allowance! What bugs me is that the import duty is actually less than £4. Another £11 is added on for the inconvenience of UPS dealing with this obviously enormous proble...

My coffee and Eraserhead DVD arrived today!

Shame I had to pay another £15 import duty... That takes the total up to about £57 (US$110). Ouch!

But it all looks so lovely!

I really like WAH, and I think it still has plenty of good Lynch weirdness. Also, don't forget, this is still waaaay out there for people who are mainstream movie watchers. A northern English friend of mine thought it was incredibly weird. "What the fook's this fookin' weird shite yer watchun?&...

I just ordered my Signature Cup Espresso from the website. And I figured while I was there I may as well order a copy of Eraserhead, too. I mean, if you're paying $28 for shipping, or whatever it costs, you may as well make the most of it, right? Worked out a total of just over £40 in UK money. Jee...

I voted FWWM. It's pure genius. I could watch it over and over. Not seen IE yet, though.

My name is Asterisk, although obviously it's not really, I'm 37 in early March 07 (birthday movie will be Inland Empire this year!), and I live in the UK. I've been a big fan of David Lynch since Fire Walk With Me came out at the cinema. It was the first thing I'd ever seen by him, having missed the...

Thanks RedRoom. That made for some interesting reading. I got that we were dealing with various time frames and dream states, and I absolutely think MD will grow on me. There are many great things about it. With Lynch, nine times out of ten I am just as happy not overanalyzing as he is about not giv...

Mulholland Dr. "codes"

Last night I watched Mulholland Dr. for only the second time. The first time was when it cam out at the cinema. This time I figured I'd watch it while at the same time paying some attention to the supposed "10 codes for unlocking the secrets of Mulholland Dr." I don't know about anyone els...
