Re: Parts 3 + 4 (Spoilers)

Did anyone notice Franz Kafka portrait in Gordon Cole's office?

I guess Lynch is paying a homage to his idol.

... enjoy seeing Frost do a show for them, too. Ronny Rocket (Frost can help him clean up the script if needed). And after that an adaption of Franz Kafka. I could see Frost working with him on both these projects, while they steer more towards Lynch's style than Frost's. After that maybe a well-deserved ...

Maybe someone here can remember, did Lynch once say he would love to do Franz Kafka's Metamophosis? I'm sure I read it in an interview somewhere but then again I may have dreamed it.... because I would love to see that. Kafka & Lynch seem like 2 peas in a pod ...

Re: Lara Flynn Boyle rumors, all true?

Re: the wind up bird chronicles

Kafka on the Shore is another surreal one of his books.

I've just read his shortish book, After the Dark, which was very Lynchian in certain aspects. The one character is constantly sleeping and at one point is transferred to the other side of a television screen.

Re: Movies David Should Have Directed

Perhaps the lame adaptation of Naked Lunch deterred the Kafka thing, if it was actually considered.
