Re: 20th Anniversary Art Exhibition & Product Release

I received mine, here in the UK, last Wednesday! :D It looks fantastic and I can't wait to get it framed. Thank-you TP20!

Re: True Blood

Didn't realise we had a True Blood thread! I'm a pretty big fan. Only discovered it properly last year, but now I'm all caught up and eagerly awaiting the new series. The writing is really excellent, but it just looks sooo good too! And don't even get me started on the titles... perfect! In the mean...

Re: What are some good TV shows to watch?

Got to say, I've somewhat fallen in love with Dexter. But I still have some catching up to do, being on Season 2. It's unconventional, dark, funny and has a decent soundtrack. Also, Michael C Hall is a fantastic actor. Who knew you could make a sociopath so likeable?

Re: 20th Anniversary Art Exhibition & Product Release

Any Europeans, let me know when you receive your prints.. I have a complete lack of faith in my postal system :? Had stuff go missing in between the US and here before. Hopefully it's just the Bank Holidays slowing stuff down.

Re: David Lynch.com Twin Peaks Music Official Thread

God.. the Nostalgia version of TP theme is just beautiful. It didn't even cross my mind that I wanted this one, but it's my favourite release yet.

Re: northwest passage: a fan edit.

That's interesting. I haven't watched it yet, but my fear was something like what you outlined. That in losing the scenes that are not immediately important to the LP mystery, you lose Twin Peaks. I was thinking about this earlier. The LP mystery, whilst it holds everything together, really just ser...

Re: The Killing - AMC

I read about this today in the Guardian... I remembered it from your post, but only skimmed through the article. It's originally a Danish show called Forbydelson or 'The Killing' in English and it's currently airing on BBC4. Unfortunately it expires on Iplayer today and there are 20 episodes to catc...

Re: Deer Meadow Shuffle now available at Davidlynch.com!

And maybe some other things like the full version of "I'm Hurt Bad"? I wonder if that title goes with the "first half" of the song, or the "second half," as they were supposedly two totally separate pieces of music that got joined in a sort of medley. Anybody know? &qu...

Twin Peaks T-Shirts by MountainWarehouse

Just a heads up for any UK Peaks fans... I was walking past Mountain Warehouse today and happened to glance in the door. To my surprise, they had Twin Peaks t-shirts as part of their outdoor print t-shirts! They're kinda steep at £20.00 but they're relatively good quality and currently 'by one get ...

Re: Duran Duran concert directed by Lynch

Did anyone see this? I watched the last 15 mins or so, because I'm not a fan of Duran Duran and it was all I could take! The concept was interesting.. sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. But if you missed it, then go to youtube and search 'Come Undone UNSTAGED'. David went bonkers on this one ...

Re: northwest passage: a fan edit.

So far, so good. I'm looking forward to this. I think it'll be interesting to see what works and what doesn't work. With Lynch I often feel as though the scenes that are uneccesary to advance the plot, are the scenes that make it a Lynch film.. if you know what I mean?! So it'll be interesting to se...

Honestly, short of releasing the missing FWWM scenes and making a new film.. for me, this is really the best thing that could have happened :D Long may the new music continue!

Re: Let's talk changes: how would you change FWWM?

After a few years of leaving FWWM in the cupboard, I decided it was time to watch it again. As I previously mentioned, I was rather taken-aback the first time I watched, and not all in a good way. For those who haven't read my earlier posts; I was primarily irritated with the lack of continuity. Thi...

Re: northwest passage: a fan edit.

Any idea how this is going to be available to watch? Not familiar with FanEdit! But this looks great, going by the trailer. I'd definitely be interested in seeing how it pans out.
