Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
So on the audiobook, the narrator (sorry, I haven't ID'ed which voices are which) says "classical natuary" where I'm 99% it should be "classical statuary" (page 17 in the book). When I read the book, I assumed this referred to the statue in the Red Room. This is interesting from...

Just out of curiosity, how do you put people on ignore here? Not to single anyone out but I would like to enjoy this thread without that constant negativity and hostility. Its been quite a wonderful, mature discussion otherwise. Thanks. Click on 'User Control Panel' in the upper right-hand corner. ...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18
I tried to cancel and redo my lazy amazon.it order and now it says it doesn't know when it's gonna ship. On the other hand, I found out this and I'm seething. Are there any lucky early readers from the UK here who can confirm that the UK "main market" version is only 358 pages long? What ...

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
Do we have another change? Has the town paper changed from the Twin Peaks Gazette to the Twin Peaks Post? https://twitter.com/FPNYC/status/785917372385361925 IIRC, while the paper was referred to as The Gazette, it appeared as The Twin Peaks Post. Check out the scene where Roger is reading it in th...

Re: Music From The New Series
I wonder now if Twin Peaks Music Archive happened just because Lynch needed old music library for the new season? The Archive releases began March or April 2012 - right around the time Lynch and Frost began writing "the first two hours" after having kicked around ideas for about nine mont...

does them sccoring the material mean that cutting is pretty much done yet???????? Before 2012 - Frost would later say that he and Lynch were "kicking around ideas" since summer of 2011 - about 6 months prior to this interview. They began writing properly in the spring of 2012.krishnanspace wrote:Thats what i thought. So they were planning on returning to Twin Peaks from 2012 maybe?

Re: SPOILERS: The Secret History of Twin Peaks
...where's Deer Meadow, anyway? The real-world town of Naselle, WA is right around where Deer Meadow would be. Mileage to the FBI office in Portland matches Sam's report in the MP, "It was 105 miles." Edit: Correction - I'd forgotten Banks was found on the Wind River, which would put Deer...

GOOD GRIEF! And how about the series itself doubling in size? Why can't Lynch/Showtime stick to the 9 hours originally announced?? Now I'll have to subscribe to Showtime for twice as long!
Seriously, though, I too am just 100% thrilled for new Peaks, however it shakes out...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18
Appears to be a whole lot of fascinating and wacky relevance to The Secret History in this: http://runesoup.com/2013/07/very-bad-company/ ...including mention of a theory that [Jack] Parsons... opened some kind of portal to ‘dark forces’". [Credit to my brother for finding it while researching ...
