Re: Journey Through Twin Peaks: the complete presentation

Lol. It really wasn't said with rude intent. Look at it like I mouthed off about pineapple on pizza in a roomful of people who love pineapple on pizza.

Re: 'The Secret Lives of Twin Peaks' new novel by M. Frost 2

I'm sure I'm projecting but it feels like the malaise is spreading. At this point the book will be like reading about a cool roller coaster that will never be built. Frost's restraint on all this has been saintly cause he has as much to lose as anyone. Probably more cause Lynch can pivot back into a...

Re: Journey Through Twin Peaks: the complete presentation

So I finally got around to checking this out nice editing and video production, but gotta be honest, didn't learn one thing about Twin Peaks I didn't already know.

Obviously a lot of time and effort went into this.

Re: INTERSTELLAR -- Lynch as Nolan's Primary Influence

I hope this isn't taken as a criticism, Kmkmiller, ..... .... But trying to plum the intention of the artist in any analysis is always a cover... like putting shades over a black eye... even when the intentions are clear or the artist chooses to make it clear in an interview. LOL... My post really ...

Re: Lost Highway set in the same world as Twin Peaks?

I don't think the point is to prove anything like this, but I am one who will definitely argue that it's true. It seems almost a shame if one denied themselves the opportunity to look at it like this.... I mean Laura calls BOB her mystery man so how far fetched is it? Lynch has always said names are...

INTERSTELLAR -- Lynch as Nolan's Primary Influence

Fitting that I post this while experiencing some insomnia myself and I know on many levels this goes without saying, some of this is pretty, as they say, on the nose. I don't pretend to think I am suggesting anything groundbreaking. But I think it's important enough to put this down in writing somew...

Re: Gender Idenity

Hey guys on this issue think about mystery man who says its not his custom to go where he is not wanted. Or phantom/crimp in INLAND EMPIRE who says he looks for an opening. So I think Lynch is illustrating a belief in demonic possession but not to let those guilty of brutal fucking murder off the ho...

Last of the Mohicans connection

In chapter 24 I came across a paragraph that sounds a lot like Annie's speech in "Miss Twin Peaks." it refers to "happy hunting grounds," which by itself would be a coincidence but then the passage goes on, Magua implores his tribe will "not forget the dead.".... "...
