Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Guys, I've said it once before: this new multiple-projects rumour is very much alike to O&A's one (I think he threw it out during the time of HHM initial tweets) about two seasons and a flick. I mean it's right there in the neighbourhood. Remember how preposterously absurd that one sounded to yo...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Yeah, and Clint at approximately Donner's age is still pumping them out like there's no tomorrow. But - can you honestly say the working process of these men can compare to Lynch's handling of his Art, with his flow and frequency?

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Sure. And David Lynch is spring chicken. I bet he's already planning on S7 which he'll take on - presumably single-handedly - sometime in his late 90s. Maybe he'll do promo department then, too.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

the new rumor mill seems to be based on - Sabrina saying 'pleasant feelings' to someone, use of purple in an umbrella in an old pic and mulholland drive pic, and this guy @therodehaus on reddit saying production starting up... Might I take the opportunity of your post to remind everyone that a some...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

Somehow, this info brings to mind that ancient O&A rumour about "two seasons and a movie". True, he was referring to Twin Peaks, but still - it's a talk of multiple projects...

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?

I guess I'm destined to be a spoilsport on this forum. Gotta say, despite how enticing and promising the recent hearsay sounds, it's still nothing more than a hearsay. At best. As practically anything and everything else we've been fed on the Lynch-has-got-something-new-possibly-TP-brewing front sin...

Re: Peaks Fans Top 10 TV shows

Anyone been watching Loki? You mean "scourge-on-society, going-to-ruin-cinema-as-we-know-it-for-some-reason" Loki? Yes, I have! It's great. No, Loki, Wanda Vision etc. won't ruin cinema - their cinematic counterparts have already done that. They'll only ruin what's still left to ruin - te...

Re: What is your Twin Peaks unpopular opinion?

One last thing I want to mention here that surprised me - I understood why Lynch left out some Season 2 stuff if he really didn't like it, so Leo not returning, or WIndom, or even Annie (but again that was a surprise as he suggested Heather Graham too) - but yet he brought back other elements of it...

Re: What is your Twin Peaks unpopular opinion?

Personally I'm in the camp who look back on the infamous Engels tidbits on what would've kickstarted a 90's S3 (Briggs driving backward into creamed corn land, Doppelcoop as town pharmacist, etc.) and am really glad enough time passed for those ideas to fade away. I've got news for you: Lynch &...

Re: What is your Twin Peaks unpopular opinion?

Another unpopular opinion - I quite like a lot of the Leo and Windom in the cabin stuff. Yes, even the flute playing. I don't think of these scenes as necessarily the weaker stuff at all. For some reason, they work for me and I find them quite enjoyable. I'm pretty sure I've said this before too (a...

Re: What is your Twin Peaks unpopular opinion?

So please, tell me what you're seeing and what I should be looking for and where you'd agree or disagree. You pose a great challenge to me, LateReg, that will have to go unanswered for the time being. Namely, I haven't seen these episodes in a good number of years, so I've been going off my memory ...

Re: What is your Twin Peaks unpopular opinion?

(and really also the last third of E20, which is Twin Peaks at its all-time high) Definitely unpopular! Is it, now? Well how's that possible is beyond me! How can anyone not love the super tense climax at the Dead Dog Farm, Leo's horror-ish resurrection and attack of Shelly in the dead of night, an...

Re: What is your Twin Peaks unpopular opinion?

I remember really liking Ep. 17, 18, 19, and 20. Re-watching all of them several times. After the intensity of the Laura Palmer wrap up, it was good to have 'lighter' episodes. But particularly about 17, I really liked Cooper's farewell at the Sherriff's station, and then the sudden announcement of...
