Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
I think I need a rewatch, but upon reflection, this is just Lost Highway territory isn't it? I'm having a hard time reconciling it, deciding whether in my opinion that it's clever or just plain lazy. After everything, the old fugue state bollocks again. He's basically welcoming people to call him a ...

Did anybody else think for a second that the waitress serving at Judy's was going to be Annie?

Personally, exactly what you said, but remove the number 8 from your post.mtwentz wrote:At what point did everyone realize that nearly none of the subplots were going to be resolved? For me, I think it was about ten minutes into Part 18.

Re: Part 17 - The past dictates the future (SPOILERS)
Laura seeing Coop in the woods during the FWWM footage is probably one of my favourite moments of Twin Peaks.

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)
I genuinely don't know if that was a complete sack of wank, or one of the greatest things I've ever seen. I really am that torn. A friend and I joked that it would end up similar to this. I'm shocked by how accurate we were, actually. I expect Mark's book to wipe up a couple of things, but that did ...

Re: part 16 released early in ireland and the uk
I'm definitely happy I watched it as it saves me getting up at 5.30am tomorrow to watch it before work. But yeah, I just want to read reactions now. Working on a bank holiday? :( Not a bank holiday in Scotland unfortunately. Yeah I just edited my post as I realised where you're from. I am bloody de...

EDIT: Just realised where you're from! I'm an idiot, sorry.

Re: part 16 released early in ireland and the uk
Just finished watching it. I'm now jealous of the folks who get to watch it for the first time again. Me too! I'm actually pretty pissed off that they made the error, because not only am I waiting longer for the next episode, but I can't talk to anybody about it until tomorrow morning either! My ow...

Re: part 16 released early in ireland and the uk
I completely forgot what day it was this morning, genuinely. I just woke up like I normally would and watched the episode in bed whilst my wife was asleep. Went on the net afterwards and realised the mistake whilst still in a bit of a haze. Bit gutted it's been taken down as I fancied a rewatch late...

Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)
I am still trying to figure out how Booper sent the "Las Vegas" message now, when we have seen Diane receiving it 2 episodes ago... or was it texted to Hutch and Chantal? the whole Diane thing is the most perplexing of the series for me.. Well, maybe he just sent it again as a reminder to...

Loved this episode. The sound especially was absolutely phenomenal. Freddy is already growing on me, and I actually loved the cheesey effects that were similar to when Dougiecoop gave Ike the Spike a twatting earlier in the series. Favourite parts were Ed, Norma & Nadine, above the convenience s...

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)
With all the eventful scenes that followed, and the frantic pace of the episode as a whole, I've only just remembered how I proper belly laughed at the very first scene; mainly at Cole's reaction to Lucy's quick anecdote of her and Andy's trip to Bora Bora. I wasn't sure whether he didn't hear her f...

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)
I'm a little bit meh about the rather comic book reveal of the origin of Freddy's glove, but the rest was absolutely awesome. Maybe I'll appreciate it a little more when it's settled in and I've had a re-watch in the week.
The woods scenes were phenomenal.
