I have a pretty high quality Sony home cinema system which has never before given me cause for concern. Firmware is up-to-date etc.

My Deleted Scenes disc has terrible audio sync problems for almost the entire runtime and it's very distracting.

I'd just like to point out that these faulty (or poorly-authored) sets were recalled and replaced. If you now buy the UK Blu-ray set (as I did from Amazon) then you'll get the correct audio/visual encodings, error-free.
