Re: Part 13 - What story is that, Charlie? (SPOILERS)

I'm still a bit confused about Norma's and Eds situation. At one point during dinner at the RR, I heard Norma call Ed "babe", or maybe it was vice versa. They interact as if they are spouses. Yet when the slick guy shows up, he seems to be romantically familiar with Norma....yet when they ...

Re: Part 12 - Let's rock (SPOILERS)

My initial thoughts: - This episode started off really, really strong. The FBI scene, the Sarah Palmer scenes, the creepy Twin Peaks establishing shots, all mixed with familiar, creepy music from the original. I thought to myself, "I freaking LOVE this, this may turn out to be my absolute favor...

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

BTW....I want to say that although I'm posting in this thread, I'm far from "profoundly disappointed". I'm really enjoying the show. I look forward to it more each Sunday more than GOT, which is usually my favorite show.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)

And Peggy Lipton could have been given a bit more to do than sitting in a booth paying bills. Ditto Jacoby. But that's just my opinion. I still think the original cast is being under utilised - and Lynch has done this before. In FWWM. It made more sense then because that was so focused on Laura (an...

Re: Twin Peaks at SDCC 2017 (DO NOT DISCUSS PART 11 HERE)

Thanks to Jeep for sharing these videos! On the one hand, I thought there were some really lame questions - why would someone who hasn't seen the show attend the panel and ask a question?! (I guess the guy was a Dune fan). But on the other hand, I'm guessing the actors aren't allowed to speculate or...

Re: Part 10 - Laura is the one (SPOILERS)

Not sure what to make of her (lack of) interactions with Sonny Jim up to this point! Sonny Jim is a bit of an enigma as a whole. Has he said a single word? Yes, when Dougie was in his bedroom to say goodnight, he offered him chips or something and Sonny Jim said he had already brushed his teeth. No...

Re: Part 10 - Laura is the one (SPOILERS)

I'm surprised that so many people are in such deep denial about Richard Horne being Audrey's kid, especially after this episode. I know it hasn't been stated outright, but it seems the logical conclusion. It is a bitter pill to swallow, for sure - that our beloved Audrey could produce a creature as ...

Re: Part 9 - This is the chair (SPOILERS)

If Lucy wanted the red chair the whole time she could have just agreed immediately when Andy wanted it. I think she wanted the beige chair, but since Andy was willing to sacrifice what he personally wanted just to make her happy, she rewarded him by getting him the red chair. I've been married for ...

Re: Part 9 - This is the chair (SPOILERS)

Out of all the characters mentioned I'd be stunned if that was the last we've seen of them. James Marshall said in an interview his role was a lot more important this time and that he was really honored with that. Also if we don't get scenes with Norma and Big Ed and Shelly and Bobby I'd be pretty ...

Re: Part 9 - This is the chair (SPOILERS)

With some of the characters, especially those who have only appeared in one scene, I think we might have already seen as much as we're going to see. I think Shelly will figure into it a little more - but probably not much. Maybe James will too. In fact, he probably will. Not sure how much Audrey wi...

Re: Part 9 - This is the chair (SPOILERS)

Wouldn't Ben be a little more distraught if his son died earlier that day? I know this thing was a monster to edit and fit together, so some allowances are made by me for the timeline, but I think Ben's scene would have been inserted in a different episode or part if Johnny had died. I don't think ...

Re: Parts 1 & 2 - My log has a message for you & The stars turn and a time presents itself (SPOILERS)

So what does Laura whisper in Cooper's ear after him asking "when can i leave"? It seems to terrify him. Maybe something like: As soon as your Doppelgänger, which has been terrorizing the world for 25 years now, comes back in here. Btw, you will take the place of some poor loser called Do...

Re: Part 8 - Gotta light? (SPOILERS)

Anyone who was craving world building and mythology expansion should be pretty pleased with Part 8. :P LOL. I neither loved nor hated this episode. After last week's very straight-forward episode 7, I guess I was falsely lulled into thinking the narrative would continue in that vein and pick up som...

Re: POLL: Old Peaks or new Peaks?

I'm not gonna vote yet either, but interestingly enough, I caught a few bits and pieces of the old show during a marathon on one of the Showtime channels today and I found it somewhat hard to watch. This sounds blasphemous, but it just seems kind of old hat now. I figure this is just a temporary fee...
