Re: Part 10 - Laura is the one (SPOILERS)
Forgive me if someone already mentioned this, but that drawing Gordon was doing on the coffee table, with the moose/antlered animal... it looks like a painting in the Palmer living room! I think it's shown in multiple episodes but I want to say it was shown prominently in the scene with the Louis A...

Re: Part 9 - This is the chair (SPOILERS)
As far as Johnny Horne goes, I like to think of it like The Missing Pieces from FWWM where the events in the town act as thematic overtures to that day of Laura's life. Johnny is wearing pajamas very similar to the ones Coop wears in the final scene from the original series as Sylvia is screaming &q...

Re: Part 7 - There's a body all right (SPOILERS)
I have always thought of the lodge as being unconstrained by earthly quantities such as time. So do I. So by time travel I don't mean that Coop gets in a Delorian piloted by Doctor Who to travel back to the past and save the gang. I'm more implying that a place unconstrained by time might allow for...

Re: Part 7 - There's a body all right (SPOILERS)
lol. i know. In the first scene the giant gives 3 clues and Coop responds "I understand" then vanishes. If that scene is actually something that comes later (like many people suspect) and then it's really not that out of the question. Especially since there are shots in the trailers that ...

Re: Part 7 - There's a body all right (SPOILERS)
9. We don't know exactly what kept the guy (I didn't bother to check the credits for the actor) who was to meet Andy at 4:30. Could Cooper be involved in some time travel later that saves Andy from foul play? ... really? come on. lol. i know. In the first scene the giant gives 3 clues and Coop resp...

Re: Part 7 - There's a body all right (SPOILERS)
I'm going to post some things I noted in no particular order 1. The episode opens with Jerry unable to find his car in the same episode where Dougie and Janey-E find out what happens to their car. 2. The piece of flesh from Ike's hand that was stuck to the gun looks very familiar to the piece of fle...

Re: Diane
I do think there are a lot of other quiet linkages to My Life My Tapes in the show, especially in the Dougie storyline (the statue is debatable but I tend to buy it when you add in the green coat, the cowboys, Diane's look, etc) which Frost likely layered in and which makes me want to re-read it. D...

Re: Part 6 - Don't die (SPOILERS)
So, what I think this is telling us is – if you perceive certain parts of this show as weird, or stilted, or off, or TOO DAMN SLOW, or you perceive some of the women to be too sexy or stiff or cartoonish or shrill – you need to take a moment to examine what’s shaping your perceptions as such. Is th...

Re: Part 6 - Don't die (SPOILERS)
Well Gerard was in that stall during season 2 and it is possible that he would have those pages if the diary was torn up at the crime scene.Esselgee wrote:So were those pages from Laura's diary that Hawk found? How would they get in there?

Re: Part 5 (SPOILERS)
What?!? It was a wonderful, hilarious scene which was one of the better non-horror scenes in all five episodes. I and everyone I was watching the show with were totally cracking up. Truman's quiet stoicism in the fact of his wife's over-the-topness was funny as hell. Yeah! I couldn't agree more. I'...

Re: Part 5 (SPOILERS)
Jacoby is just trying to introduce some alchemy into the lives of Twin Peaks....for the low low price of $29.99. Also, Sheryl Lee is probably being credited for her fave during the opening credits. Unless she's very well hidden somewhere in a scene. Also, in case anyone was wondering about the statu...

Re: Theories & Speculation (SPOILERS)
I know I'm interjecting here and I'm also not sure if it's been discussed but in the very first scene we see Coop, REAL Coop, digitally phase out. We also see Laura/Not Laura take her face off to reveal a source of light that could be the "unified field" that Lynch believes in. Now, where ...

Re: Wally Brando Appreciation Society (SPOILERS)
I didn't take it as mockery of the show. I thought it was just a loving, silly homage to Brando and a parody of that archetype. Agreed. Lynch doesn't like Season 2 but that doesn't mean that every creative decision about The Return has to do with his disdain towards it. It's just a fun little scene...
