Re: The waiter vs Dougie

I think of the waiter scene too, but there's also a level of Dale dealing with the waiter. He's hurt, incapacitated, in need of help but like with the waiter everyone insists on doing their jobs, giving him the milk so to speak, without giving him that help.

Re: Part 6 - Don't die (SPOILERS)

The pages were torn out of the diary early on in FWWM, before the Annie dream. So it could be a dream she had involving Dale PRIOR to the last week of her life, because she does have a psychic connection with him that isn't bound by time. So it could be part of ep 29, part of FWWM, a mix or even som...

Re: Is the doppelgänger looking for the White Lodge? (SPOILERS)

A little update, I found some similarities between the scene with Briggs in the throne, in season 2, and the scene with the giant and Cooper in season 3, which I see as indications that they both depict the white lodge. - Briggs is surrounded by trees in the throne. - The floor in the giant/Cooper ...

Re: Part 5 - Case files (SPOILERS)

Premonition is an interesting idea. Speaking of Sonny Jim, I still don't believe these theories about his eyelids dancing a lodge jig. He was just fluttering his eyelids like a normal kid. People also perceived Denise moving strangely, and I honestly think that the Black Lodge has just worked itsel...

yea - I also find this EvilCoop + Audrey = Evil Dick theory hard to swallow.
Just brainstorming, I have my fingers crossed he's Jerryspawn. In the meantime, are we all agreeing on Evil Dick as his name?

Here is a picture of the signs in the TP Sherriff stations back room. Forgive the image quality, it is the best I could manage. TPST-backroom signs.jpg Nice shot. Going to say this is probably standard security procedure, rather than protecting Lucy. However, wasn't the drug-dealer cop from the Ban...

Re: Part 5 - Case files (SPOILERS)

"He's got emotional problems. It runs in the family" - Audrey Horne In which case she's believed the past 25 years that was the Real Coop, who left town out of shame (the weakness of letting his emotional reaction to her accident overcome his ability to resist temptation, of course), and ...

Re: Episode 5 Character Parentage Poll (Spoilers)

Or maybe the coma didn't last so long and he did visit after burning the station down? If DoppelCoop seducing Audrey really is the origin of Richard Horne, and his evil is something that seeped in from the Black Lodge then I hope the Linda of this pair is a twin sister so Audrey can have a decent ki...

"Real" Dougie was wearing a gold blazer when he was switched out with Coop.

Should we count all of the blondes we've seen?

Re: Part 5 - Case files (SPOILERS)

Hey, is anyone else thinking of the Fates for the Pink Ladies? One looks to the left, one to the right and the middle on straight ahead. TSHOTP says one of the two races of lodge spirits is "The Nordic Race" which could liken them to the Norns, and the Venus statue in the Red Room and the ...

Re: Part 5 - Case files (SPOILERS)

I've been thinking about the shoes and clothes and how identity ties into this fugue. Because its lasted so long I think most of us are giving up on a quick leap, but as its been pointed out he hasn't heard his real name yet. More importantly, he hasn't seen anyone ELSE in danger yet. I think his re...

Re: Part 5 - Case files (SPOILERS)

Rubber insulates electricity. Grounding means it gives it a path to the ground, but it can't travel through rubber. Rubber won't conduct it. Still probably why he lost them. Now the shoes are what I thought represented identity. He lost them going through the door. And them Jade puts Dougie's on him...

Re: Part 5 - Case files (SPOILERS)

Bobby [...] had the mitigating factor of being actual stupid teenagers who would get better as they grew up. Bobby did actually, you know, kill a guy, though... And he showed the right amount of "Oh my god" reaction in a case of self-defense to be read as a stupid emotional kid in over hi...

Re: Part 5 - Case files (SPOILERS)

Steven is married and looking for a job. Richard is at least 24. None of these guys are the new Bobby because Bobby, Mike and James all had the mitigating factor of being actual stupid teenagers who would get better as they grew up. And they DID. Bobby's a cop. Mike is a responsible businessman. Jam...

First, Leebob -- Whoa. Missed that. I can't remember an instance in the old show where Bobby did not make his emotional displays as intense and public as possible. It was typical Bobby IMO. I also think the music was deliberately withheld in order to accentuate moments like that one. That being said...
