Re: Episode 29

I've absolutely loved the commentary through your most recent rewatch Reindeer, many many thanks for sharing your thoughts. Without having another recent rewatch under my belt personally, it's made me feel like I've experienced the journey one more time. I also adored your send-off to Nance/Pete, ha...

Re: Twin Peaks Season 3, Star Wars, JJ and Fan Service

Great observation Reindeer, & one I agree with wholeheartedly (although admittedly, I haven't been able to get into the Marvel universe). There's definitely a lot of room to wonder at what might have been, but it's still fun to dig among the post-Jaws-Star-War weeds & find the gems (in sayin...

Re: Episode 8 (Season 2 Premiere)

Loving reading your rewatch commentary Reindeer, many thanks! It’s been noted before by both me and others, but the Giant/Fireman relays axioms involving the words “one stone” in both this episode and in P1, whatever that may mean. I'm sure this was not intended at all, but 'one stone' reminds me of...

I don't mean to make light of the situation, but you could also make an argument for Big Trouble in Little China & Escape From New York... :P

Re: Episode 3

“Rest in Pain” sounds like an awful direct-to-video Steven Seagal movie. I would still probably watch it if it was early days Seagal, tbh. It may be purely an editorial coincidence, but I believe that the few times Dale is seen with an alcoholic beverage, the camera never actually shows h...

Re: Peaks Fans Top 10 TV shows

Saturn’s child- I can’t believe I completely forgot about The Wonder Years. I think I might have to replace number 10 on my list and put in the Wonder Years. Well, thanks to this thread I found the Wonder Years on Dailymotion & started through it again (after many, many years absence). Just wat...

Re: Peaks Fans Top 10 TV shows

Good idea for a thread TwinsPeak! Off the top of my head, in no particular order, & liable to change tomorrow -- - Twin Peaks OK, I know I said no particular order, but this is the one for me. Probably don't have to explain it to y'all though... - Millennium I was ridiculously into this as it ai...

If you haven't seen it Jonah, you will probably enjoy John Blyth Barrymore talking about a three panel Garfield comic for an hour: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAh9oLs67Cw

Re: Part 8 - Gotta light? (SPOILERS)

I’m guessing you know this, but Lynch & Badalamenti recently released their song of the same name, which was recorded in the 1992-93 period shortly after FWWM, and has a “storyline” similar to the description of the game. I knew there was a song of the same name, but I haven't got the album yet...

Or the site was from an alternate timeline... You just got Mandela Effected, haha. Sounds like an interesting site though! Going back to Part 8 (& TP/Lynch in general), the woodsmen/alien thing you brought up makes me think of 'Woodcutters from Fiery Ships' ( http://www.thecityofabsurdit...
