Re: "It Was Red"

It reminds me of an exercise offered by William Burroughs which he called walking on colors. What he meant was that you can take a walk and pick a color to notice. Then you think of the relationships between all the things you see that are that color. It points to the difference between thinking th...

Re: L.B.

She most likely recieved the hand-stamp before being let into the room with the dancer. To me, that makes perfect sense. This theory also lends further credence to our belief that the specific meaning of the letters is largely irrelevant to unlocking the meaning of the story. This meaning as you sa...

Re: L.B.

Re: Scene 35

when they start reading the script they seem as they are actually talking about what happened the previous day on the tv show. and when sue says "oh shit Billy, look into the other room" it's like they are referring to what is going to happen. Jina: Can you say more about this? I'm not fo...

Re: L.B.

when Nikki enters Smithy's house, which i think is the house she used to live sometime in the past, she remembers things from her life, but she goes as far to remember a past identity. and the scenes we see are very back in time whatever it is about. so LB has probably something to do with that. a p...

Re: North Carolina accent?

oh, yes...i think i took it a bit too far about Devon leaving the film. :|

it seems though that both producer and director don't care much about Nikki's problems.

Re: North Carolina accent?

That Kingsley , though, I also feel is part of the effort to cause Nikki and Devon to drown in their roles. Of course, I suppose, many directors would not hesitate to do the same just to insure a good performance. That seems to be something to wonder about because the producer warns Devon of exactl...

Re: This Is The Street

They project onto someone of the appropriate age, sex and mere appearance that image which they themselves seek, that Persona that will answer their own, quite selfish, emotional needs and then they fall in love with that image. Yes, important factors with regard to the romantic love indeed. But I ...

It's still love, even if arranged, cursed or bought and sold, for that matter. Love ( folks still use that word, hunh?) is purely subjective, anyway. Some say that love can`t be bought. And probably most people say that Devon doesn`t love Nikki when he says things like "Maybe we met at the wro...
