It's more like an alternate take of the entire movie. You know, like on some of those Blue Note jazz reissues. That's a fair analogy. I'm sorry to say this, but I really didn't think much of the More Things That Happened feature. I dunno, I just didn't think it was as great or fascinating as Inland...

Re: Dean Hurley?

From the "Sound Mixing segment of the Stories extra on DVD 2: [...]even though I don't like Dean personally, I love him as an engineer Is anyone else confused why David said that? Why not just limit his statement to Dean's work? In interviews I usually only see David say nice things about peop...

Here's the link for the torrent file if anyone wants to download episode: http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3539882/Desperate_Housewifes_100_Unaired_Pilot Just a warning - downloading this episode takes VERY LONG. It took in excess of 40 hours for me (last 10% was a nightmare!). Thanks for the heads-up J...

It was beautiful to see! I don't think he's ever being particularly bad tempered in the doc. Just seems like he's all whipped up with creative energy. I totally agree - he's simply focused and driven, not at all "bad tempered". There was also Lynch's curious comment in Stories that he did...

If you've already seen IE, watch "MTTH" first... If not, go with the main feature. That's my view, for what it's worth.

My guess is that the entire series 'gold' set will be issued here, skipping the season two-only set! You're probably correct, however I'm a little unsettled by the fact that (to the best of my knowledge) there hasn't been any mention, anywhere, of the Gold Set being released over here. Sure, I can ...

Has anyone noticed THIS on the Amazon pre-order page? # Available Audio Tracks: English (Dolby Digital 5.1), English (Dolby Digital 2.0) Commentary by: David Lynch, Kyle MacLachlan, Mädchen Amick - Dolby Digital 2.0 Surely this is a mistake? No commentary is listed in the press release and the ide...

So... back to the topic in-hand.

Any other thoughts re: the "MTTH" film? Surely I'm not alone in thinking this a great Lynch work, (and one that will sadly be lost to the majority of non-US/non multi-region viewers).

Thanks Snikgrif and Fall_of_Sophia, you're stars. I looked at both sites but in the end I decided to order a copy from CD-Wow because I know they use robust packaging. I'm worried Axel use those plastic bag things. I usually buy DVDs from Caiman via Amazon marketplace but it's not listed on Amazon ...

"More Things That Happened"

I've just watched this for the second time in as many days, and my head is racing, much like it was after first viewing IE in a cinema several months back... More Things That Happened is masterpiece - a movie in its' own right. Much, MUCH more than a bunch of outtakes, with deep character exposition...

I do hope it will be available via other channels, as the shipping costs via DL.com are generally way too high for UK residents ... I've read this several times about dl.com shipping rates to non-US countries. Just to clarify and in case you guys don't know, dl.com shipping rates are too high perio...

Soundtrack will be available in a couple of weeks according to David Lynch on NPR: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=12840729 I heard that, although I suspect he means via his website, as there seems to be no news via any other outlets at this stage. I do hope it will be availabl...

I've heard elsewhere that listening to the book is more fun than reading it. I love to hear David speak, even if it's about meditation! Annie you are correct! I have the audio book and it is fantastic when David reads it! Perfect for listening to in my ipod/car when I'm stuck in LA traffic! I echo ...
