Re: Unreleased Twin Peaks Music Announcements - Official Thr

I was kind of hoping that "The Mill Fire" would be the very last piece to be released, as a statement of how different (and weirdly bad) it was from everything else. That sequence in episode 7 always makes me snicker.

Re: David Lynch - Crazy Clown Time LP due November 8th!

I don't think there is a weak track on the album, it makes for perfect chill music that doesn't reek of redundancy and can still provide that darker edge Lynch is so fond of. Well put. This isn't the type of album that I'll be singing along to on my drive home from work, but it will be great to hav...

And the artwork for Wheeler's theme HAS to be a picture of him in the big ugly sweater.

"This Train" is pretty good. I was hoping for more songs in the same vein as Polish Poem, but that might get a little tiresome over the course of a full album. It's a little more blues-y than I had expected. It's not the type of music I usually listen to, but there are some great instances...

Re: Unreleased Twin Peaks Music Announcements - Official Thr

Does anyone else think that "Bookhouse Boys" is a completely inappropriately-named part of the soundtrack? It's pretty much the Bobby Briggs theme, and he was certainly not a Bookhouse Boy. The artwork for these two files even shows Bobby and Shelly. Anyway, I figured this one was coming u...

Re: James Hurley the Early Years

I got the DVD from Netflix last week and watched it tonight. It's pretty ridiculous. Lots of hilarious moments, mostly unintentional on the part of the filmmakers. My wife groaned a lot and I laughed repeatedly.

Re: Unreleased Twin Peaks Music Announcements - Official Thr

I just checked the site and the archive as an "album" is as it stands just under $40! I wonder what the price would be if they released them all on CD (once the archives are completed of course). That price is probably getting the point where it might be too high for someone who has just ...

Well, I'm no longer pining for a third volume of the Twin Peaks soundtrack. :)

Re: Bad music in episode 7

I don't remember the music playing when Leo gets shot, but I've always kind of thought the music during the drying shed fire scene sounded like something that would play during a climactic moment on an episode of MacGyver. Pretty cheesy, and I too would be stunned if that were something that Angelo ...

Hey, they're only charging $3 for shipping. That's probably the best shipping price I've seen.

Re: Pre-Order the New David Lynch DVD Box - the Lime Green Set

I found a place through the Shopping search at Google that is selling the set for $93.99 right now. After I set the shipping options, the total price was about $101. I honestly would have preferred to buy from Amazon since they are a company that I know I can trust, but I thought the hefty savings w...

I was 10 years old at the time, but on the night the pilot premiered my parents were watching it, and I sat down with them about halfway through. I watched all of the episodes when they first aired, even though at that age a lot of it went over my head. Still, it definitely affected the way that I w...

Holy crap! That's good news. This is kind of surprising, because I am 99% certain that this will be the first time that Inland Empire is shown in a theater here. Thanks for the heads-up.

Right now I'm watching through the series for the (something)th time, but my girlfriend is seeing it for the first time. Tonight we watched the episode in question, and even though that song is cringe-worthy it really sets a mood that makes the BOB scene quite jarring. My girlfriend was kind of snic...

I am totally not technical at all; I've never heard of rewinding a CD. How is it done? Annie - rewind means to go back. In this case you are not skipping back a track, you are scanning back (try pressing down and holding your 'Rewind' button on your stereo or remote control for your stereo) On your...
