Re: TP Season 1 & FWWM soundtracks set for new vinyl reissues
Quick question - there are two songs in the Pink Room scene. The first one is on the soundtrack - where can I get hold of the second song?

Re: FWWM fanedit (Phillip Jeffries scene)
Interesting. And how could I get hold of a copy of your version? Or was this something you did for yourself? Also - does anyone know where I can find the 5+hour Q2 fanedit Northwest Passage? I can't find a working torrent anywhere. I'd love to watch it over Christmas when I've got a bit of spare ti...

Re: Question About the Different Twin Peaks Blu Ray Versions
Hmm, I'd need to check when I get home, but I've got the more recent cheaper version and I'm 99% certain it has the ten discs - 1-8 are TV series, 9 is FWWM and Missing Pieces, and 10 is something like Bonus material or Special Features. Did you buy it in the US or UK/EU? I bought the cheaper set r...

Re: Episode 14
This is tied with the Season 2 opener and the final episode as my favourite of the whole show. I still remember watching it and that second half blowing me away. WOW. These moments elevate it from a great TV show to a GREAT TV show.

Re: Does Anyone Dislike Episode 29?
Yup, perfectly put. This is so key. Thanks! :) These days, they talk about shows having 'mission statements.' Twin Peaks is an example of how things fall apart when a mission statement is thrown away. When I first watched the show as a 15-year-old, it was obvious even then to me that the story of L...

Re: FWWM fanedit (Phillip Jeffries scene)
I'm late to all this Fan Edit stuff. I've just downloaded the Q2 FWWM and am really looking forward to watching it, as FWWM is one of my favourite ever films. I'm not totally sure where I stand with watching things that aren't Lynch's original vision (but then I guess FWWM wasn't exactly his vision ...

Re: Does Anyone Dislike Episode 29?
Each to their own! It's one of my favourite episodes. As much as I love Twin Peaks, I'm as much a David Lynch fan and am glad he took over. I'm hoping series 3 is more Lynch.

Good book, enjoyed it. I'll read it again before the new series.
Is it true that she lost the original manuscript and had to re-write the whole thing?

Re: Anyone agree that this soundtrack is possibly his best?
I think its his worst. I think Lynch's best soundtracks are actual compositional work. The actual music (NiN, Ramstein etc), are rubbish. He's no Scorsese when it comes to soundtracks. It would have been a hell of alot better if it was entirely Badalamenti scored like Blue Velvet. Can't disagree mo...

Re: Twin Peaks Poll - First Time
When it originally aired in the UK - September 90? 91? I was ten or eleven. Loved it. Had no idea what was going on. Nothing's really changed there haha. I then saw FWWM a few years later (circa 96/97) as it had been on TV and LOVED IT. Rekindled a love of the show. Then Channel 5 stuck the show on ...

Re: Lynch rated and ranked
The traffic jam sequence is amazing. In the dark, with the volume up to 11, it's very unsettling.
