coop/renault

Coop knows at this point that Renault is a resourceful and slippery opponent and is not taking any chances. As for your statement about the scene making Coop's character more ambiguous.....interesting thought, something I hadn't considered before.....but consider this: Coop: " secrets are dange...

cooper/renault

I believe Cooper was still handcuffed at this point so a grappling match was not a very viable alternative. From a law enforcement standpoint, some departments train to assess the threat level, when deemed necessary, fire two to three rounds, cover the target and determine whether or not the threat ...

EXACTLY!! Just what I was thinking!! Only problem is, the fantastic and in-depth job those guys do with the amount of material they have to work with in IE, it could take years. But it would be worth the wait. Craig Miller and John Thorne, WE MISS YOU!

Egads! That's embarrassing! Simple math, huh?

1) It was very late.
2) It was very early.
3) I'm a dumbass.

I'm afraid the answer may lie behind door # 3.

I acquired a copy and it was an interesting oddity. By no means did it lessen my appreciation of the film.

Agreed! Seeing Trent Reznor working in conjunction with Lynch brought my two favorite worlds together.

For a completist, both versions are essential, however........I'll probably never listen to that soundtrack again as it's not my cup of tea. So I would only recommend the single disc edition. I personally liked the documentary. Henry, Paul, Nefud, Pete, OO Spool, 1 or 2 others I'm forgetting....What...

Hi! I'm Mike from New York. 33 years old, retired off NYPD. First introduced to Lynch through Dune however my love truly blossomed on April 8, 1990. Been a fan ever since and love everything Lynch has done. Who in their right mind wouldn't??

Did a calculation:

Ballerina: 12 mins
MTTH: 1:15
Lynch 2: 30mins
Quinoa: 20mins
Stories: 41mins
Trailers: about 3 mins total
Stills: 7mins

Approx.: 3 hrs 3 mins

So the 190 and 211??????

That struck me as odd, as well. Rewatching it, David didn't seem to crack a smile and no chuckles in the background that I could hear, so I'm just as lost as you are. Strange.
