Re: Interview with Brad Dukes, author of Reflections

Yeah, I have to say that I read Brad's book on a plane in the middle of having a reaction to my thyroid medicine. It grounded me so to speak and kept me from losing my marbles on a 6 hour flight. Without question the most comprehensive and intimate literature on TP to date. What a great thing to rea...

Re: Deleted Scenes from the Pilot

The one I am certainly glad that was cut was the one when Harry says to Cooper don't look at me like that etc regarding Andrew's death. It kind of changes the very consistent tone of their relationship which even though they had only known each other a day was built on respect and trust from moment ...

Re: unanswered questions / mistakes / etc.

The dream sequence is related to my annoyance at the handling of the "T" under Theresa's fingernail that was not mentioned in the "real" timeline of the show (Sans Euro ending) until the "Albert recap of all that had happened to date sequence". "You'll recall he pl...

Re: unanswered questions / mistakes / etc.

Wow, some of the points above I never caught........Most intriguing and not to be taken lightly is the Cooper not trying to "hault" Renault............I still can't believe no one else thinks the "T" under Theresa's nail finger not "really" being mentioned in any episod...

Re: unanswered questions / mistakes / etc.

Another item that bugs me is that in the early part of Season 2 (2 eps before Killer is revealed), during the Police room recap with Albert/Andy confrontation Albert says "You'll recall the killer placed a letter "T" under Theresa Banks finger". That is NEVER mentioned in the ser...

Re: Share your favourite FAN THEORIES

The "Coopers Dream" theory as being the first half of FWWM is interesting. Several things of note: Chester Desmond's initials are CD which are the "backward" version of Dale Cooper DC. Lynch likes dream logic to be backwards The other thing that I went mad doing one day was scram...

Re: Alternate scenes original broadcast vs. DVD

My "Guess" here is that the Exit sign was used for continuity with the story. Since Hawk says "I pursued but lost him" to Cooper, and Exit sign out of the Hospital would explain that. A sign that pointed to the "Morgue" I would think would have made Hawk pursue further....

Re: Twin Peaks the serie in HD

Yeah, I found my problem. My PC is old. It only has 512mb of Memory and most of these programs require the original i-tunes file to stream while it converts and the file does not play well since it is 1080p and my PC is so old. I guess it is time for a new PC if I want TP in 1080p. Oddly, if i go di...

Re: Twin Peaks the serie in HD

If you want the best, highest resolution possible, you will want the 1080p versions. It looks absolutely amazing. My versions were purchased off iTunes in the US, but they are right protected so one can only watch them through Apple devices/software. You can remove the right protection with various...

Lynch Films on Blu Ray for US Players - Where are we?

All- I know this topic is spread across many threads; however, I'd like to know what the best options for watching a Lynch Film, in 1080p on a US Blu Ray player are? I know that Blue Velvet and Dune are released. With that said, what are the best options for: WAH LH MD TP Series TP FWWM IE Erasherhe...

Re: Unreleased Twin Peaks Music Announcements - Official Thr

So I am confused when I look at what has not been released. Where is the "Jones and Truman" track as well as the music playing when Truman and Coop rescue Audrey? Have those been released or what are they titled in the lists of unreleased tracks? Thanks all and Happy Holidays!! The "...

Re: When I'm asked why I like TP

What I try to explain to people is that it is not just WHAT Twin Peaks was but WHEN it was. I was a senior in High School when it originally aired as were many of the main characters. The clothes, the hair, the clicks, everything resonated on a real level while still pulling off this completely &quo...

Yes, I agree as well. The real trick with Twin Peaks was not just WHAT it was but WHEN it was. I was a senior in High School when it originally aired as were many of the main characters. The clothes, the hair, the clicks, everything resonated on a real level while still pulling off this completely &...

Re: David Lynch Film Party

OMG, I forgot Wild At Heart. I am ashamed.......WAH should be viewed in proximity to Twin Peaks if for no other reason than the great cameos and filiming timeline relative to the TP series.
