That picture jmichael posted a link to is definitely Leland, in very UN frightening make-up. It's just a perfect example of how that movie was not remotely scary, whereas the television series was terrifying. Ray Wise's own face can be much more disturbing than those black lips. This is just my opin...

Amen. It is essential. At night, in the dark, on a big beautiful screen, with the volume blasted. Actually, I rather prefer watching it in headphones. Anyone else do that? Especially with the fantastic remix on the Gold set.

Really? Anyone know how to record a copy of it? I want that Norwegian track sooo bad.

Cooper - "And do you still like this... Dick?" Dick Tremayne is one of the most hilarious characters in television. The Pine Weasel scene and the wine tasting scenes are stand-out moments for me. That smile... Incredible. Are you really alone? I thought everyone liked Tremayne? I was just ...

Okay, I will be honest. There is an actor I did not like in Twin Peaks. So, for this one shining moment I will admit to a fault in TP's second season. Mak Takano is terrible as Jonathan. The scene in episode 11 between him and Josie is the worst scene in TP. He cannot speak clearly, his inflections ...

Great lists! I love stuff like this. My favorites are Episodes 2, 7, 14, 17, 23, and 29, but you've all forgotten one classic one!!! Episode 21, where Leo stumbles through the woods into Windom's cabin. That is a contender for my # 1, actually. It is so exciting how much it sets up and how much it d...

This weekend is the big marathon for me! I'm showing my 4 best friends, all avid Lost, The Office, and The X-Files fans who know nothing about Twin Peaks, every episode over two weekends. Their opinion will be completely unbiased and not based on any cultural anything. And I'm not going to "lea...

I'll post a picture, but how do you do that? How do you post pictures on these forums? And I agree, Audrey. I think he was another character with a connection to Leo we don't need to know about. Just like John Justice Wheeler's mysterious South American murder he has to rush off to, it's another gre...

I just watched that episode last night! And I was wondering the same thing, whether we ever found out... Mike was my first guess. Or maybe Johnathan (Josie's cousin/associate). Oh, and who does everyone think was that man hiding behind Leo Johnson in episode 2? I used to think it was Jacques, but la...

Oh well, at least you and me are in agreement over the awsome-ness of TP season two, magician! Yes! And we will agree on that to the grave! But... I remember when I first saw Twin Peaks, one of my first thoughts was... "this reminds me of Jose Chung's From Outer Space" (no joke). The mix ...

" Did Ben have some sort of vision of Josie? Definitely! :D Josie was going to be VERY important in season 3. The Josie/Cooper/Windom triangle in the Black Lodge would have been brilliant. I think Josie may have been the outside world's contact with Cooper, possibly through a comatose and horr...

I've always been puzzled as to how so many so-called Twin Peaks fans could bash and badmouth what is, essentially, the majority of the show that they say they love. Season 2 has some of the greatest scenes, characters, and quotes from the entire series, and I truly view season one as merely a prolo...

Isn't Season 2 of Millennium the one with the return of Jose Chung (played by Charles Nelson Riley)? I've been dying to see that! Did Daren Morgan write any other Millennium episodes? And as a pretty huge X-Philie, I would have to say The X-Files got much stronger when they introduced the humor. In ...

There is a huge difference between Coop and Leland's possessions. Leland was not split in half. Cooper, and his soul, are stuck in the Black Lodge, while his physical shell has become nothing but a housing for Bob, so I do not think Bob would be going in and out of him the same way he did Leland. In...
