Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread

26+ months since the announcement. Since early summer this year, I feel my enthusiasm has dropped. Waiting so long is not good at all. Even the book could only lift me for a few days. We need something, soon, to lift us before it's starting next year - at least if we're talking past April/May.

Re: A Question For Original TP Viewers

What I remember: I don't think many expected the fact that so much of the finale were to take place in the red room. I know I have replied this in another thread long time ago, however: The fact that the red room appears when Coop enters the black lodge came as a big surpise to me - remember - we ha...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18

Amazon is really something.........: A couple of weeks ago I ordered The Secret History of TP, Laura Palmer's diary (lost it years ago) and Wrapped in Plastic. Amazon responded it would be 18-32 days to arrive at my place. Yesterday I got a mail saying delivery was delayed 2 days - from 9th to 11th ...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18

Listenings to Diane's podcast and they mention the Elk's Club fire in '59 (E1S2 - Dr.Hayward to Cooper in Hospital bed).
We know Margareth's husband died in a fire just after their wedding. Say Margareth was around 50 in '89, the Elk's Club incident could be that fire.
Maybe the book will tell...:-)

Re: Showtime to Re-broadcast Original Series Early Next Year

Much speculation on here related to how the "25 years later" will fit into the airing-date of the new season. Don't you think as the series was actually filmed in 2015/2016, there is a good chance the new season will somehow open with telling us: "we are now in 2016" giving them ...

Re: Your reactions when the first episode hits

According to my dreams over the last year or so, I will be confused and disappointed. I think I've had 5 or 6 dreams allready about watching the first new episode. Probably, and hopefully, I won't be disappointed - I just can't imagine that happening... I am a super-nostalgic, and I think my respons...

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/

For me, going way back in time and read about the origin of Twin Peaks and its mysteries is just as, or more, interesting as reading about what happened after season 2. The book will be the highlight of this year no matter what.
