Re: The Straight Story and Mulholland Drive on DVD
I can't speak to the video transfer of FWWM, though I knew he hated the packaging. It is quite possible he was not involved. As to the mix, I did the 5.1 remix for the DVD, under David's supervision and approval, just like all the others I mentioned years ago, above. The only negative comments I got...

Re: Badalamenti on the INLAND EMPIRE soundtrack?
No, the Rabbits theme was written and performed by David and I specifically for the 'Rabbits' show on DL.com. I believe he did use it in Inland Empire,as he re-purposed some Rabbits footage for the movie.

Thank you both so much.
I hadn't been on here so long, my username and password no longer worked, but Brian fixed it.

Re: Nightsage and Italian Band do Twin Peaks Music!
Yes. "Falling" will be on our first CD, "LeeriX - Coming to Life!" as a bonus track. Press copies are out now, general release in a few weeks. "Into The Night" is not scheduled for any other release, but I'll bet I can get Nightsage to put it in her myspace tunes store!...

Nightsage and Italian Band do Twin Peaks Music!

Re: Is Sheryl Lee in this movie ?
I can tell you Sheryl Lee is not in this scene.
The resemblance is just that - a resemblance.
Besides, I've met Sheryl, and she does not look that old.

Re: 50th Anniversary of "Day The Music Died"
I had forgotten that Ritchie Valens (Ricardo Valenzuela) was only 17 when he died, and that Buddy Holly was only 22. My goodness, that's young... Waylon Jennings, who was in Buddy Holly's 'Crickets' band, gave up his seat on the plane, and survived to have a great career. He never forgot how close h...

Re: Dune - Imperial County
Imperial County, CA is just north of the Mexico border and contains some magnificent dunes. Some of the exteriors were shot there. Dave said the actors were just miserable in the rubber suits at 110 degrees plus.

Re: Eraserhead OST
Well, the Soundtrack CD was completely re-made after I restored the film Audio Track. David had an LP of the original release and I loaded it into ProTools, then pulled the same sections from the remastered track. The only difference is an editorial decision by Dave to make a couple of slight change...

Re: David Lynch's next movie
Hey, Mikeindustry.
I was at the Rafael too, and had a great meeting with David, though he was more interested in where my lady was...
I may be having a screening of a new film there in March.
Do you live in Marin?
Send me a PM.

Re: Axxon N and the cigarette burn
Axxon N. was an idea for a website series, to be made quickly and cheaply, with no end in sight. A deal was not able to be made, however, and the idea was incorporated into "Inland Empire", which was in itself a conglomeration of three website ideas. The cigarette burn was from "Darke...

Re: TP Soundtracks reissued on vinyl??
Bastard downloaders. Try and pay your rent or mortgage with Bit Torrent. Pay for your gas or groceries with 'file sharing'. What a load of horse shit. Anyone who would download someone else's work for free is a thief. Sorry, but it's true. How about come payday, your boss said, "Sorry, your wor...
