IIRC, the original pilot did screen for a much smaller industry event before it aired (it was discussed at length in Brad's book), which got it serious buzz in the business. That's not the same thing as the crowds at Sundance though, or the massive critical and media cachet TP now has 25+ years late...

But it is (with the panel coming up) possible some of the inner circle of the cast (new and original) now know that the season premiere episode will be released online as a surprise, on a date coming really soon to create buzz. I think we're all gonna be real surprised on just how broad and far-reaching this vision is.

Some things are definite, sure. But the purely speculative stuff on IMDB regarding how many episodes there are and who's in how many is absolutely in dispute. Do as you please, but the only thing not in dispute AFAIC is the cast list released by the production.
