Re: Recommendations for Watching While Waiting for Season 3
True Detective (first season) Fargo (both seasons) Gilmore Girls (all seasons) I know, I know. One of these is not like the other. But if you enjoy the silly, quirky, small town aspect of Twin Peaks, you'll love Gilmore Girls. The show focuses on the best mother daughter relationship of all time (on...

Aww! A book compiled by Major Briggs would be just perfect.

The author/compiler of the book/dossier is a man. Frost says "This is what he writes" at 1:05.frahm9 wrote:Yeah, Frost calls the author a "mysterious person" but doesn't say whether we know him/her or not. The new character is the one who the Log Lady read the eulogy about.

Re: Next on Twin Peaks
Wouldn't the "White Queen" have been Windom's Queen, not Dale's? And therefore not the winner of Miss Twin Peaks? In their chess game, I believe Dale was black and Windom was white. Right?
Maybe the White Queen was Caroline?

Book Expo America: I am completely shocked and elated that "THE OWLS ARE NOT WHAT THEY SEEM" is on that banner. Anyone else? I guess I assumed Lynch/Frost would be moving onto new ideas and entirely new mysteries. This gives me great hope that they really are going to expound on the mytho...

Whoa! Thanks, Needleman. Never ever saw that one before. Bewildering that they describe TP as a TV legend, even back then, and they had been the ones to cancel it.

Re: Next on Twin Peaks
I don't remember anything at all about that commercial for the finale! I don't think I ever saw it because I remember being completely surprised that the last episode took place mostly in the Red Room. Before the final episode, I didn't think the Black Lodge and the Red Room would be one and the sam...

Re: Next on Twin Peaks
They were the perfect teasers back in the day. I used to obsess about these, rewinding the VHS over and over again trying to decipher them. I would lose it if they do this again with the new season, but knowing Lynch/Frost, they've probably devised a new teaser format that will be equally amazing/co...

Re: Next on Twin Peaks
Aw, thank you for this! Did it really take 25 years before someone thought to make something like this!?!
I'd love to see another one, but with audio from the Missing Pieces interview between Lynch and the Palmers.

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/
Even just this little bit of video from Mark Frost is amazing, and so exciting. A few observations: Who is the "mysterious person" compiling the book, and for what purpose? The fact that Frost said "dossier" makes it seem official to me, like perhaps an FBI agent is putting all t...

Re: What happened to Donna? (Casting Spoilers)
I know that Lara Flynn Boyle isn't well, but it's a little strange we've not heard much from her either. I wonder if when they asked her back (if they actually did), they told her some details about the plot, but first had her sign an NDA? I don't think it's strange. She has avoided speaking public...

Re: Showtime to Re-broadcast Original Series Early Next Year
Thank you, LostInTheMovies!
Since Twin Peaks is streaming in so many places, I bet Showtime will just air a few marathons of the original series... not weekly episodes.

Re: What happened to Donna? (Casting Spoilers)
So funny that the Hayward sisters, who have a total of maybe 8 minutes screentime combined, will be in it but Donna won't! Especially she was initially conceived as the primary female star of the show (well, alongside maybe Josie and Catherine - who also apparently won't be in it). I hope they at l...
