Re: David Lynch should not get away by declaring TP as a "dream"
I think L&F planned TPTR with many different interpretations as possible, in order to keep things mysterious and keep the conversation going. You can argue that it's all a dream ("We live inside a dream"), or that there are different timelines ("Is it future or is it past?", ...

Hmm, I have many questions in mind for her but I'll try to focus and find questions that she will actually be able to answer.

Re: Creepiest/scariest scene(s) [Spoilers]
Actually, one of my biggest issues with TR is that I can't think of a single scene that comes close to the original series or FWWM in terms of creepiness. Yes, there were some creepy moments, but nothing that scared the bejesus out of me like Ronette's nightmare with BOB, Maddy's murder scene, BOB ...

Re: ALBERT appreciation thread
Albert was fantastic. Slightly different than the one in the original series but still very funny and witty and certainly more mature. My only gripe is that I wanted him and Coop to interact a bit in Part 17. He just stood at Frank's office without saying anything.

I need to do a massive rewatch ASAP but for now I'm gonna go with 3, 5, 8, 11 and 18.

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)
I always thought they'd go for a more bittersweet finale, in the vein of other Lynch films. I'm actually shocked and surprised that the ending was so devastating. Cooper failed again, even though his intentions were benevolent. The ending is so haunting, it left me gobsmacked.

Re: Part 18 - What is your name? (SPOILERS)
As frustrating and kinda devastating the finale was (I'm actually shocked, I always thought that they'd go for a BV/FWWM finale), it's nearly impossible for me not to connect with Cooper's strive for good. His strive to help Laura even beyond her death. Even if he shouldn't because no matter how har...

Re: FINAL POLL!!!!!!! Your Reaction to The Return as a Complete Work
Like/Love. It's a flawed piece of art, sometimes riveting and sometimes frustrating. I need a lot of time and many rewatches through the following years in order to process and digest it.

Probably Sarah and then Audrey and Shelly/Bobby/Becky. I wish they'd resolve those three and then proceed with the ending with Coop and Carrie.

Re: S3: Make Your Peace Now with the Ending You Dread (SPOILERS)
Cooper sacrifices himself to trap himself and Mr C in the Lodge forever. The seed creates a new improved Dougie who returns to Janet-E and Sonny Jim to live happily ever after. Laura Palmer is alive again. Sarah Palmer vomits an evil alien frog thing. Post-credits, we see a convent in the hills. As...
