I just got the MD Special Edition. Interesting thing is that when watchingthe film, if I push the 'next chapter' button on my remote, my DVD player informs me that this operation is not allowed. So no skipping through it then. When you go to the Chapter Index, you are presented with a still of an M...

Windom: I've always hoped my endless hours of mentoring might CONTRIBUTE to the development of a fertile MIND. You were such a dullard, Coopy, such an earnest, plodding, do-gooding Eagle Scout - it was all I could do sometimes to keep myself from SHREDDING YOUR INTERNAL ORGANS OUT OF GENERAL PRINCI...

I like talking about it and dissecting it -behind the scenes as well. It's just like any great literary work. I kind of like that there are problems with it too -to me it seems still open ended and not a completed piece, so plenty to talk about. I find the problems that face the second season kind ...

Of course I don't pretend that TP was perfect. There were flaws, but I submit not so many as we have been led to believe. Certainly some stories could have been stronger, that is, more developed and treated more innovatively than they were. But compare TP to almost any TV of any quality and I think ...

celebrating season 2

I have a different take on Season 2. I remember watching TP when it was first shown on TV loo these many years in the past. Yes, I saw the show in the original Greek. Linear A I think but I digress. I remember thinking for years that Season 1 was the best and that Season 2 lost it after Leland was r...

This is what we've been talking about for months. I have also asked for the FWWM deleted scenes. I haven't seen the tapes or diary but those are excellent ideas.

HD or BluRay play TP season 2?

I am enjoying the heck out of my TP Season 2 DVD's. It is like discovering the series all over again. Some of you are noticing problems with the the images on the DVD's. Actually my set seems to be all right. Of course I am watching on the very best late 20th century technology. I wonder who is watc...

It is somewhat expensive. That's why it's rockin' good news that they will sell it through retail channels. I hope. I may buy one tin of coffee to say I have it. But a regular customer? I can't afford it.
