Re: What would a Season 4 be about?

I'm kinda surprised so many people find parts of Twin Peaks scary. None of the seasons scared me, there's 1 scene in FWWM that jump scared me (BOB behind the dresser), but besides that I've never felt "scared". My first viewing of TP ever, the only thing that remotely came close to scaring...

Re: No Ray Wise?

I wasn't talking crap on/diminishing the greatness of the Bellucci scene. I just literally heard numerous times over the years that filming any of S3 in France would be beneficial RE: tax purposes. I actually think that is probably the absolute best possible scene that they could have picked to be f...

Re: The Great 'Mr. C' Debate

I subscribe to the train of thought that Mr. C sacrificed a part of himself creating Dougie, losing his cackling gleeful manic side and becoming more cold and emotionless.

Re: No Ray Wise?

As insane as this sounds, I now hope that Season 3 was mostly a cleaning of the pipes for both Frost and Lynch. They were interested in Twin Peaks, sure, but I think their focus sometimes drifted to things that didn't have anything to do with the show. There wasn't any real reason why David Lynch h...

Re: No Ray Wise?

I've never seen or heard anything legit indicating those roles were cut down from what was originally intended. And I heard a lot I didn't talk about. How the heck did Mordeen and you hear all this secret stuff? Friends with crew members of S3 or something? At least you're not as cryptic as Mordeen...

I'm sure Lynch would be thrilled to see this edit.
You sure sound like fun to be around...

Re: Phillip Jeffries imposter / Lost Highway connection?

My interpretation has been that the frog-bug essentially planted the seed in Sarah that made her susceptible to the spirit world, and a beacon for Judy to inhabit. I don't think Sarah is possessed by Judy until the "Experiment" (which I'm pretty sure is just a semi-physical... or just semi...

Re: Original Season 3 Plans

Semi-on topic, given the references to Dead Dog Farm in recent posts: I’ve been reading up a bit on the production of Dune, probably the DKL film I’m least well versed in behind-the-scenes-wise (due in large part to the relative dearth of information readily available in most sources). However, i l...

Re: One year later - how are we feeling?

And they needed Harley Peyton on dialogue duty. THIS, so much this... Peyton and Engels being involved would have made S3 so much better. Writing isn't Lynch's strong suit, he's best left to creating an impeccable mood/atmosphere. Frost is a great writer, but he was spread too thin writing 18 hours...

Re: Episode 22

I loved this one when it came out, but in retrospect it really is just a filler episode. Loved when Audrey found out Ben was just faking his dementia and how she stole the tape from Bobby about the mill fire. The scene with Sarah is heartbreaking. When she goes to the town store, and those three wo...

Re: Episode 25

In the scene where Audrey runs into Wyndom Earle in the library, is it just my copy or is there a shot that looks like a bad VHS recording even on the restored Blu Ray? It's right where he says something about his mind wandering. Then it cuts to a close up of his face and looks fine again. You are ...

Re: Episode 29

I figured it's Earle speaking through Sarah. Sarah was a beacon for Judy because of the frogbug, but I don't think she became possessed until the creature (Judy, probably) escaped from the glass box

Re: Knowing what we know now, why in the world was Theresa Banks' murder a Blue Rose case?

Mentioning the ring is a really good call. In TSHOTP, Richard Nixon tells Douglas Milford that Gordon Cole is the only guy in the government that Milford can trust. If Nixon and Cole ever met in person, maybe Cole saw Nixon worrying the ring and became aware of it... perhaps Lois Duffy had the ring ...
