What is the origin of this photo of David Lynch?
I have got myself this photo autographed by David Lynch, and now I am interested of the photo itself.

Does anyone of you know where movie set this photo is from? I asked this same question in IMDb boards and someone said it might be from Twin Peaks set. What do you think?

I think it might be from the set of On the Air. I don't know why I think it is but that is what came to mind. I may have a copy of the photos somewhere.

I think it's "Wild At Heart" era, from a fairly big magazine, but i don't remember which one.

I knew I had seen it before in a press kit of some sort. I think I may actually have it somewhere... Good catch!

I was confused at first because there was a very similar portrait taken on the set of On The Air. He's stood next to a camera smiling and chewing a toothpick in that one too. It could be a mirror image of the same picture.

I just went through my photos and realized that I actually have this photo signed by Lynch. I bought it at the 2000 Twin Peaks Festival. Lynch signed several copies and the Festival organizer at the time was selling them for Lynch to donate the profits to the AFI.
I thought I had the similar one from On the Air but no dice.

Sadly, that is the only one I have. When I found it it was smashed into a folder titled "David Lynch" at a Sci-Fi and Horror Convention.

When I interviewed Nancye Ferguson, she told me she had some behind-the-scenes photos from the set. However, when she looked for them she just could not find them

He was off cigarettes at the time, which might explain the presence of a toothpick in his mouth.
